i fell asleep while working last night but i only have 3 teams left to input, i'll send out the email shortly and we can start taking nominaions by 7 (good?)
even if someone can't be there tonight as long as they pop in before tomorrow night (likely wednesday night) they won't miss out on anything
also announcing trade:
exit gives: Bud Norris
levarkin gives: Russel Martin
also i'm cutting two players (using 2 of my $4 cuts/eating excess salary)
Quick reactions, and I realize that this is a lot of work, and you're not quite done yet:
Karak: good.
Coff: You have James McDonald in as $1; he's $5.
Me: incomplete.
Fifield: good.
danvh: incomplete.
rack: good.
Banhammer: good.
Exit: missing Cliff Pennington. Starlin is in for $1 but he's $4.
muckface, prime, Pecota, sergsz, Thay3r all not started.
thanks for looking it over, McDonald in for $1 because Coff only has 9 minor leaguers, Starlin in for $1 because I'm cutting Pennington (eating $1) but i also only have 9 minor leaguers. they're just placeholders so cap space is right.
the rest should be finished now. though it think karak gets $10 from a trade earlier this offseason, i have to look that up and add it. edit: Yea, $10 from Pecota in the 1st overall pick trade. This now added (i'm marking it as Freeman for $14 and Kuroda for $1 on couchmanagers).
the main sheet on the spreadsheet should be updated/no longer have 2011 data on it. Now the # that's next to Total Salary (4 for most people) is the amount of '$4 cuts' you have left, where you get $4 back for a cut.
email going out now, planning on starting around 7 but as said before timing doesnt matter. and if someone doesn't show up/respond to emails i'll pause the auction before the first person sells to make sure no one gets screwed.
for all the hard work he's done and time he's put in to keep the league running (which could have likely crashed under the weight of my ADD), i present the following to exit:
Yeah, I don't want to get into what-ifs, and I'm fine if he's dumped back in, but I would have taken him instead of Chad Bettis had none of you, prime, or rack taken him. But then someone after me might have taken Bettis, so I'm certainly fine to let it go.
Looks like you've got good explanations for everything, but just to be sure:
-Did prime recently drop Alfonso Soriano? He was active in previous versions of the spreadsheet.
-Did danvh recently drop Neshek, Feldman, and Martinez?
primetime cut Alfonso in his first cuts but i overlooked it initially, and yea danvh dropped those guys, Ramon Castro (who is a placeholder for Jason Castro) has their leftover salary.
if anyone did not get the email about the auction, let me know, that means i have a not-optimal/incorrect email address saved for you.
edit: one more thing, making sure i didn't misread PM's, levarkin you confirm the Martin/Norris swap?
I can't take guys out of the player pool, so ignore the Yu's and Coespedes.
Also you werent shorted a minor leaguer Coff, you traded Wil Myers during the draft.
edit: if Pecota/Karak think you should get a pick back for trading myers mid-draft (which is reasonable, but i defaulted to thinking you didnt), then you would have gotten the last pick in the draft - and can still make the pick. Cosart ineligible.
