Looking to shake things up and primarily to improve my MLB offense. Guys on the block, all numbers are for 2017.
Alex Cobb (2nd / $35) - got some work in 2016 coming off TJS so should be good to go this year. Had 300+ innings in 2014-2015 with almost a strikeout per inning and sub-3 ERA.
Garrett Richards (4th / $10) - no idea what to expect but he's just $10.
Raul Mondesi (1st on rookie scale / $4) - exceeded our rookie limits. Could be a good speed option in the MI for cheap.
I've got three catchers with high offensive ceilings available on near-minimum or rookie contracts in Zunino, Rupp, and Swihart and am looking to move one of them.
Profar (IF and OF eligibility) and McCutchen are available for a pick or prospect if anyone wants to roll the dice.
I THINK FAAB is updated for NBA. Can everyone check it out and make sure it seems like your team is right? I want to make sure there werent any missed trades

So where we at on owners for this coming year? We got a little bit of time to resolve still but we prob need to figure out soon. IIRC we usually start minors draft around 3/1

As of right now we are just looking for someone to takeover SRMs team.
Just encountered this thread at Fangraphs, but I have to imagine if we make a post in this forum in a couple of weeks, when interest is really ramping up, that we'll find someone.
I'm semi interested in taking over his team. What picks does he have in rookie draft and how does the salary cap work? I saw the spreadsheet linked above and see he has Encarnacion. How do I know how much he would cost next year or how would you determine when he is an FA?
Also, any incentives you guys can offer? I assume SRM's team finished last place?
