Phew! Survived my horror show of captaining carroll this week. Been making -ev decisions in Barca too. Showing up 4 hours late to tournaments and getting stoned all day. Let's hope my decision making improves this week. Might start with a wildcard.

You finished 788th last year and 14,538th the year before? Very impressive for just a 2 year record.
Looking at your team though, it's pretty..........ummmmm......unorthodox!
Putting aside the selection of Feghouli + Rhodes, it's the structure.
There is a lot of strength in depth there at the expense of a stronger XI.
That worked well last year as a lot of cheaply priced players scored very well and most of the super premiums disappointed. Perhaps it will work again but if Kun and Ibra continue smashing it and a couple of other premiums start firing, it will be unsustainable.
As your team is so unorthodox, if you continue playing like that, it'll probably do very well or very badly imo.

I finished in top 500 last year iirc and top 10k previous. Fixtures > form. Always fading the players running above expectation esp with bad fixtures. First few weeks always can be rough because if your assumptions about starting lu are wrong you need to wild card immediately or if it's just a few players can fix with xfers in 2-3 gw. Didn't help I forgot there was a fri game and didn't finish making some tweaks I wanted (changing capt).

It's form AND fixtures of course, like anything in life everyone wants it to be Black and White but it's always in the grey, 50 shades one might speculate.

Duck you need to man up about a gamble gone wrong, the Friday fixture excuse seems a little hard to believe when you were tweeting about the very same Friday game! Making tweaks = clicking the mouse a few times, I'm sure you had time.

I actually commend people for a bit of risk, Deulofeu was bound to get 60 minutes so it was a big risk, but none the less fairplay.

Negredo was always starting ahead of Rhodes having read the pre season interviews and the lineups but I'm sure it's really easy to pick holes in my lineup too. Nobody got it perfect and it's nice to have a little flair. Silkworms bot might disagree!

The double up on WHU and Soton defence for the fixture alignment was a pretty nice idea I thought too.

In other news, I've now left a total of 51pts on the bench over 2 gameweeks

Yup I'm around that too, benching capoue is whatever but the foster/Heaton debacle hurts!
