Looks like Los Goleadores wins the £35 by tiebreaker (least amount of season xfers)

Which is stunning because it came down to 1 bonus point on the bonus points system (Pedro 35/fabregas 34) So basically had Fabregas not commited that late little foul then J Stones wins. Margins!

Congrats to all the winners and thanks to mic_check12 for running them and doing the admin. These were most definitely the toughest leagues I entered this year but I will be back next season if they go again.

Felt like everytime I had this ****er in my team he scored 2 points yet when I took him out he would get 12 without fail. He managed to end up as one of the top scorers in the game yet somehow I constantly rage transfered him out all season

My favourite moment of the season came yesterday, we had a big group of lads together that play a fantasy draft. One of the lads said that Kane had scored his 4th and I went dancing round the room in celebration. There followed another minute of everyone wondering why their live score on their phone hadn't updated before realising that he was looking at Thursday's game against Leicester

Managed to clinch the 4th rank in the 45£ league.
Tough but really interesting season !

Thanks a lot to to mic_check12 for managing them. This was my first year in the 2+2 leagues and I really enjoyed the competitiveness and the variety of playstyle from the pool of players.
Hopefully see you next year.

Finally got the last bank info so everyone is now paid out except one MOTM winner who isn't answering PMs. GG all!

I'll run this again next season although I am on holiday over the start of the season so might need some help sending codes out. What's everyone's thoughts on making the leagues open to anyone? The standard is so high I don't think anyone needs to be too worried about getting sharked since if you bink a winner you want the prize to be as big as possible. The argument against is that it leaves the league open to multi accounting (IDK if this is a thing though?)

Interested in opinions.

Over at Blonde they open their bigger money leagues to everyone and keep the lowest buy-in league for forum regulars only. I think that's quite a good system, as it's less likely to put off forum members who might be thinking about joining the £35 for the first time. Anyone who plays the higher buy-in leagues here knows they'll be full of sharks anyway, so they're less likely to be put off by outsider sharks I would have thought.

No strong objections to just opening everything to everyone though. Like you say the £35 is already so strong that it's really more a matter of perception than reality that people will be getting sharked by outsiders.
