This offseason is straight bananas

Jimmy to Seattle
Shady to Buffalo
Gore to Indy
Mathews to Philly
Bradford/Foles swap
Vereen to Giants
Marshall to the Jets
Torrey to 9ers
Thomas to the Jags

and the NFL leading rusher is a FA

and the draft is still over a month away, which has a ton of WR talent that I'm sure will shake more things up

My quick .02 on the moves

Jimmy to Seattle

Neutral? Maybe slight downgrade in value. Graham might see more target, but he should be more likely to be double teamed and Lynch will take a lot of GL targets away.

Shady to Buffalo

Slight loss in value.

Gore to Indy

Should be a nice bump if they use him like Bradshaw was.

Mathews Murray to Philly

Has to be a downgrade. He won't see nearly that much work.

Bradford/Foles swap

Good for Bradford/Bad for Foles. I still believe Chip's offense does great things. I think Bradford >> Foles. Bradford should be a fine QB1 if (I realize how large that 'if' is) he stays healthy.

Vereen to Giants

I mean this can't be be for Vereen? Vereen wasn't real used as much as we all thought he would be last year. Maybe he gets a featured back gig for once?

Marshall to the Jets

Terrible for BMarsh. Worse QB situation (somehow) and he doesn't have Alshon/Bennett to take away heat.

Torrey to 9ers

Ehhhh. I think it's kinda neutral but he will still be really inconsistent

Thomas to the Jags

Lol JT.

How does T-Rich get waived? I totally didn't expect that.

graham is a clear downgrade. hes leaving a team that throws 600+ times a year, loves to pad stats, and is often involved in shootouts for a team with a duel threat qb, dominant rb that often doesnt need to pass the entire 4th qtr.

mccoy is about neutral. the main problem with mccoy is that the oc is greg roman, who absolutely despises throwing to his rbs. look at the rb targets in sf the last few years. otherwise, its a nice upgrade as ryan loves to run the ball and he shouldnt get vultured. so 300 carries and 10 tds looks nice, but his ceiling for catches is really low, like 30 or so.

Wonder what Cameron is going to do in Miami. I kind of need him to a bounce back year for my dynasty league.

Also maybe I'm hopelessly optimistic, but I'm thinking Bortles in a few years could really be decent. They're certainly building some great tools around him.

Wow, so roto claims that the Eagles dressing Murray, Mathews and Sproles shouldn't hurt any of their values. In what universe is that true? Going to be a pretty big range of ADP's for those guys now I'd think.

I didn't think they actually officially signed Matthews?

McFadden to the cowboys.

If they don't get ADP, will McFadden be a first round pick? I kind of think he has to be.

If the cowboys do get ADP, I kind of think I need to spend whatever it takes to get him in auction leagues.

wow they did sign him. i think sproles' value should stay about the same (still a mid-range flex option in PPR leagues, not really rosterable in standard leagues). dont think matthews is anything other than a handcuff, and it probably means demarco gets 3-4 fewer TDs than if matthews wasnt there

Yeah DMC will be a late round flyer at best. Hate the signing for Dallas. No idea what they were thinking. The dude has been broken his whole career, and now at age 28 you think he's going to come in and do anything? lol

At least he doesn't have a lot of mileage on his legs.

lol @ DMC being a 1st but also lol at him being a 10th.

If he's the starter, he should be taken around the 4th-5th at worst. He should be in the Jennings/Gerhart range from last year. Like, yeah, they're a starter, but you're still suspicious.

now Spiller to the Saints - probably a great fit for him, gets to play in a dome, gets to play the Bucs and Falcons

Stills shipped to Miami, which is probably both good for him (won't have to fight for targets now) and great for Cooks. I'd imagine the Saints will sign/draft another WR cause right now their #2 is...Toon?

and D Williams to Steelers (the new handcuff, sorry Dri Archer?)
and Harvin to the Bills...lolBills?

wtf is going on.

Just dawned on me that Blount may have an actual case for being a legit top 15 back if Bush doesn't land in New England. Ridley gone, Vereen gone, the landscape may finally be opening up for a lead back there.

I also don't find that too many guys improved their case for fantasy value this year with their new teams. It's more the guys left behind on the teams they left that are going to see the big bumps. Jeffrey and Cooks come to mind as lined up for monster years. Also really curious about who is going to be the ball hawk for the Ravens now if Torrey is gone and Pitta is hurt.

The signing that will tip the scales in the AFC. Christian Ponder to the Raiders.
