Agree that an alarm system is necessary to take this league really seriously. Think we've all missed the deadline at some point this year, and think I'm probably clinging on at the top as a result of missing it a bit less often than others.

There is an app for the regular FPL game which sends a notification to your phone 2 hours before any deadline, but don't think that exists yet for UFPL.

Well that ended up being another extremely tight gameweek between us - could potentially have been massive for you if you'd remembered to do your team on Sunday.

Also, I've not really been paying much attention to overall rank since we're obviously miles away from 1st, but bearing in mind that this game is only played by people who care enough about fantasy football to pay an entry fee, us being 183rd/216th out of 22k people seems very respectable indeed. Would be interesting to know how many of the teams are actually active. If I wasn't involved in this mini-league I think there's a good chance I'd have given up by now, so probably quite a few dead teams, although I wouldn't think as high a proportion as in regular FPL.

I'm going to definitely do it again next year. If you remember to do sub's all the time it would make such a difference. I don't know if the other top teams are as similar as ours, but post Christmas everyone's going to put in the same players. First few months is going to be most important.
