Not sure what to do with Reem - Nelson , this won't go past round 2 so it's a must pick. Leaning towards Reem.

Also - don't know if Cejudo is a finisher or will just grind Cariaso.

I like Dariush tonight, and as you stated, both sides of Nelson/Reem.
EZ Game 2.

So had RDA, Joanna & Reem in my lineups, edited to add Dariush in most after reading this (and seeing Cruickshank in the weigh ins looking lost and not willing to shed 1 more pound to save 20% of his purse...) and crushed it - Thanks.

So this weekend is a tough one. Lots of relatively unknowns.
Not sure if that means that there will be more opportunity for people who do a little research or it just means that less people will play.

~ all the less experienced fighters and the fact that its in Brazil makes this a weird one.

I like Erick Silva to beat Josh Jobcheck.

Touchy Fili is another guy I would look at and I wouldn't sleep on Dober either.

Had a good lineup this time. Cashed in both a tourney & 50/50 (yeah I know you should prob make different lineups for each but got lazy - and lucky)

Pepey was the difference maker. He was really cheap and unpredictable so it made sense.
I didnt see how many points D.Maiya got from dominating 4 rounds.

This weekend is really interesting with a lot of more even matchups. I like it better that way.
I like Pena & Poirier. Also really want to pick Iaquinta but Masvidal is a beast.

Anyone play today? Dk seems frozen

Does DK really have Daily fantasy MMA/UFC? I've never seen it...Nor thought that it was even available to play? That would be awesome picking players for UFC events......

I gotta check up on this....

I dont like picking 187 at all. Too many one one sided fights.

are there any plans to add more fighters? i got 2 nice lineups and if one wins i will split with 10 other people and if other wins i'll split with 9

seems like this happens all the time

ah ended up in that log jam for 6th because of that francisco upset

was 3rd but then holloway 1st round win where he did nothing happened too. won one quarter arcade/got second in other tho

still think they need 6+ fighters to create some more separation

The 100k is about 60k entries short with 9 hours to go. They put a cap of 200 entries/person, so I'm thinking this is going to have a big overlay. Just a heads up.

I put in 169 entries and got a lot of Silva/Tiago

Are you putting multiples of the same exact entry in
DFS MMA Quote
09-05-2015 , 10:24 AM
all unique, just combos of same fighters tho

have 14 fighters and just did every possible combo under salary cap and then eliminated combos with lineups of guys fighting each other (E.g., silva vs. malegarie since i have both). i was thinking about putting frank mir in but that would give me ~300 unique combos which is over the cap. so maybe i'll just fill out the remaining with random mir lineups

you?

I have 2 lineups lol. How many combos are there?
DFS MMA Quote
09-05-2015 , 10:38 AM
All possible combinations under the salary cap is 19,080

If you remove all the ones that have two people fighting each other in the lineup its only 10,321

I just use the betting odds and pick people based off of that, run my script to get all the combos, import to DK, and just enter all. Takes like 10 minutes and has been pretty successful the past 4 events. Could be luck, but I've won a bunch of tournaments, top 10s in the big ones, etc. Wouldn't use this strategy for cash though.

Im good at the big cards. I don't use formulas or anything. For non mma I looks at stats and such. For mma I just use my knowledge. I've been pretty successful at dfs . One of the reasons is I know I'm gonna have different lineups than the syndicates

Yea I don't know anything about MMA. TBH I don't even know what a significant strike, takedown, advance, etc. are. I just analyzed the scoring results for the past year and I just know winning early is really important so I target people with low round totals and favorites. And I don't think ever putting 2 people in the same fight in the same lineup is a good idea (based on all the scoring the past year).

So I just set those parameters to my script and hit a button.

Yea I don't put two of the same fighters in. And obviously I use my knowledge to figure out who has a good chance of a round 1 win which I don't think any program can tell you
