In fairness he is getting destroyed, and if what he says is true about his script being approved he's not breaking any rules. The problem, once again, is more about perception than blatant cheating. No one in that thread seems to know the rules, I play every day and read industry news every day and I don't know the rules, apparently. Meanwhile this guy, who's part of a big syndicate, gets his secret permission to auto bum hunt all the way down to the $1's as he sleeps. I wonder why rec players don't think that's fair. Maybe they could take action before the NYT deals another black eye.

I don't think the "entering games instantly via script" is against FD policy, but the automated selectively entering H2Hs only against certain people might be. Of course now someone in the RG thread is suggesting writing to the Attorney General about pros taking H2Hs ... brilliant idea right

Some NYT editor is probably right now researching to see if "bumhunting" is one word or two.

But seriously this cannot be good. I suppose there's some chance this could die quietly, but the mass media loves to look for "more to the story" and this plays right into their hands as a followup to the Ethan thing.

They have a shipload of overhead and want to make money. I would settle for a site that wants to compete and deviate from the standard 10% on cash games...etc. Does any site do this?

When this is all over, it's going to be one of those HBR case studies about how to do every single thing wrong.

He is one of the worst DFS players that people look up to or respect. It has been well documented he shares lineups with CSU and Birdwings and they all use em in hu 50/50 and even single entries.

I get all the hate and bad stuff rg is bringing up and believe me I hate rg but people have been bringing this up forever and sites have written. It off to protect their .01% rake payers

Waiting for the next shoe to drop.....Mafia ownership! What else could be brought to light? Stealing credit card numbers? Constant phone calls like sports betting service touts? Worse commercials, if this possible? More lame responses from frat clown bro executives?
Both FD and DK have to be disassembled, from top down. Who would ever deposit another dollar on these inside schemes?

You nailed it on the head. If it smells like a rat, looks like a rat and it is a rat.
What more do we need before we call their platform's shady or as we say it here dodgy as f**k ?

I think if you're worried about FD/DK (and that might be justified), moving to CBS, Yahoo, Stars, etc. might be wise.

I know their sites are all broken in various ways, volume is nowhere close, but they're far more likely to not be frat guys and their assorted friends just raiding every last dollar as fast as they can endlessly. Which I acknowledge on the surface appears to be the DK/FD model. Reputable companies like Yahoo and CBS are going to probably respond better in the long run, and frankly I trust Stars on the whole.

Its not like these DFS sites just suddenly sprung up. They've been going for a while. Where was the US Attorney's office when the whole premise was being brought up? I don't want to think this challenge will work, but again, where was it four or five years ago? Now that companies and investors and bettors have invested a shipload of money into it some jackass comes out of his coma and says "yo, this stuff ain't legal".

I guess my point is that somebody or actually many folks in government green-lighted this. It would be nice if one hand went along with what the other hand was doing.

In the FD CFB tournament there is a 9 way tie for first. 9 different people, same exact team.

Most of them have very low # of wins in every sport.

Seems suspicious. Maybe a sites line up tool just predicted correctly?

It's not like it's some kind of supercartel or something..

but seriously how is it suspicious? Lineup selling and sharing are prevalent and not against any rules.

It's another black eye for the industry!!! I'm worried every day that I'm going to wake up to the news that Obama shut it down because of too many black eyes

It actually seems like the average Joe wouldn't mind for these sites to go down... I am just guessing, but many are sick of the ads, losing money, the secrecy of pro's playing and site management as well.

I gotta say it: I suck at DFS. You can throw your FF “skills” out the window. DFS is about randomly picking those one or two players that blow up any given week unexpectedly. It’s like betting on a weak horse or dog and hoping they win. It’s more about betting on long shots than anything. That’s gambling, not skill.

The DFS are a stupid trend that invoke pure luck in picking total long shots with perhaps one or two obvious picks. And who knows the people against whom you’re playing? Could be the employees themselves who may not be paid, but do take up the money spots. It’s a waste of money and I would advise any and all to avoid the scam.

I’m glad I haven’t heard anything about starsdraft since i have been using it. I would only use draftkings or fanduel if i could get in on that insider trading.
