so I guess they are trying to say each round is a separate event which seems pretty dubious. and then they also offer nascar for one race so I have no idea what the logic is there.
The only argument that I've heard for Golf qualifying for UIGEA exception is: "If you can buy a ticket for each day, you have more than one event."

As for NASCAR, I dont know what the legal opinion was, but DK did get NASCAR to officially sponsor it at one time. (if not sill)

UIGEA is not the be all end all for that legality of daily fantasy sports. Also the distinction of more than one game was so that you could not hide direct betting of a game as "fantasy sports." Golf dfs is much more than just betting on a single winner so in that sense it does not violate the spirit of the law.

Hasn't some sort of legal precedent been set re:golf/nascar.DFS has been scrutinized and legislated and legalized in many states without much argument about the 2 sports. If it's ok with a hard on like Schneiderman, where exactly is the problem?

I'd like to learn how to succeed at this game. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations? Any particular resources I should refer to?

I was also wondering how much more difficult would a $10 cash game, be compared to the $2 ones? Beginner contests. Would the difficulty increase considerably the same way as it would in online poker if I was playing at those stakes?
You're better off posting this in the NFL DFS thread.I don't know much about cash games, but in gpps the pros play at all price levels.

I meant that the FD proposed solution for golf was to have slates that include both PGA and European tour at the same time.

Should there be a lower max entry limit for small slates?

lineups need more players. Way too shallow imo.

I played on FA until DK reopened in NY. It was a pretty good site for rec.players,no lottery like payouts, but recs could compete.I became wary of their survival when I would get constant emails urging me to join contests that were about to lock with big overlays.

These guys should figure a way to come up with the $1 milly to repay players, because they've definetly committed crimes here in NY,fraud and or perjury? I'm sure Schneidy would love to make an example of them.

I have a feeling they could be in for some lawsuits if they are unable to repay the players.

I saw that fantasy draft is stepping up and paying some of the balances, doesn't seem like much though.

Maybe FD/DK step in to get people paid so this story doesn't get bigger. This publicity is the last thing the industry needs right now.

Wasn't shocked or anything but a little surprised that happened with FA, they ran live finals and their owners seemed to be on the up and up. Had been around 3 years now.

Any update on the fanduel / DraftKings merger? If it's gonna go through and when it will be implemented?
