Just catching up on the states where DFS is illegal, guess I dodged a bullet by being in Tennessee where they ignored the AG's advice and allowed DFS.

So even with losing players from the banned states, could the overall payer pool be the same or even a little larger than 2015 due to a bigger % of people playing overall?

Looks like draftkings and fanduel are cutting off collusion and also 3rd parties selling lineups

How can they cut off third party lineup selling? Very curious to see how that's enforced.

Ban people who buy lineups? It's not hard to figure out

How are they going to differentiate between people who organically come up with the same lineup combinations as the ones that are sold?

I'm sure when 20 people "organically" come up with the same lineup they will know

So if I sell the optimal Rotogrinders, FantasyLabs, FantasyCruncher, RotoQL, etc. lineups, does that mean no one is allowed to use any of them?

Sounds like it. Selling optimizer software is fine, as per the Rotogrinders Daily Fantasy Fix pod today with TheSiege. But selling optimized lineups, no.

i don't think matching one individual lineup will get you banned. I'm sure they'll keep track of these lineups as they go. it's more when the same 20 people show up with the same exact lineup multiple weeks in a row that it'll be beyond obv.

Banning this is definitely bad for my bottom line. Every sold lineup is just a dumpster fire. If it wasn't they wouldn't sell it

But it clearly makes sense and is best for the recreational player for sure. Some of these "rules" seem pretty hard to enforce tho

This is them saying they don't care about your bottom line or maxdalaurys etc Etc . Maximum lineups are gonna come down a lot in the future I bet too

Surprised they didn't do this sooner.

Serious question when you if you guys wins a gpp how much profit are you making? Sure you are in for heaps of lineups

I've never understood buying a lineup, especially not for gpp's.

Curious how much this is being done? From the amount of DFS lineup Twitter accounts following me, seems like a lot.

So is Fanduel going to address the massive collusion problem or just ride it out to their death in the form of another NYT/ESPN article?
