I am in a 12 team h2h league with some guys I know. I am the commish. There is a degenerate in the league who bet myself and another player he would win regular season with us laying 1.5/1 that he does not win. He is currently in third place. The other guy who he also bet (Player X) is in second place. I am unfortunately in last place. Today I accepted a trade offer from Player X who is going h2h with said degen this week. He offered Jon Lester and David Robertson for Manny Machado. I accepted. Any issues with this deal?
I know nothing about baseball, so I don't know how fair this trade was. If you accepted this trade knowing it's a bad deal for your team, but it helps you win your side bet, it's some bull**** and clear collusion.
The fact that you even need to ask the questions makes me believe you are getting the raw end of the trade and you know it. Since if the trade was fair or even a trade where you got the better end, nobody would likely argue.

As far as your question goes, Im assuming you made the deal to improve your standing in the side bet, which is clearly collusion.
Do the other league know about the bet?
