interesting trade offer. so this is my friends league, hence my stacked team.

.5ppr, 2rb, 3wr

currently i have:

a smith
hunt, howard, mccaferry, mckinnon, AP, smallwood
evans, baldwin, t hill, fuller, watkins, t williams
gronk

was just offered a brown + loleli for smith + gronk

best available TEs are kittle and hooper, really. and QB wise i could grab goff or bortles.

part of me feels like brown + any streaming TE ~ gronk + hill, and i lose some on the QB drop off. but gronk playing all his remaining games + hill playing all his remaining games seems unlikely.

I think you are somewhat thin. your roster could use some depth. I don't know a ton about ASJ but I know he has been doing well as of late. I also don't know anything about the new guy in GB but at least they seem to have a good system and as pointed out Jordy has done ok without Rodgers. D Martin seems to be getting the ball a lot. giving up Brown is tough, the rankings I just looked at has him number 1 ROS(PPR, sorted by FLEX). Jordy at 10 and D martin at 27, ASJ at 12 TE, M Bennett at 15 TE(think I had these filtered for some of the better performing analysts)

league settings could have an impact here as far as what u start. two flex? 3 wrs/2rb(Yahoo)??

In short, I think the depth here plus TE upgrade could be worth it, as mentioned, but it is a tough spot. A Brown is v consistent

I've been trying but it's a struggle. Lots of owners don't want to trade with me under the (not necessarily mistaken) belief they'd be handing me a championship. Others are demanding a lot. One owner is offering me DeAndre Hopkins... for Elliott, Parker, and a first-round pick. Seems steep to me. Another owner is 1-5 and has Mike Evans and Michael Thomas but isn't willing to move either.

the Palmer/Bridgewater owner also has Doug Baldwin; I would feel better about that deal if I could flip Parker for Baldwin as part of it too.
That's a ridiculous offer even with Elliot's looming suspension. Are there any teams with two or three good qbs? what about teams that are 0-6 or 1-5 that are looking to the future or rebuilding? I am in the same boat as you, lost DJ and now Rodgers. One team has brees and Watson so targeting one of them. Another team that is 0-6 offered me cam for Rodgers. Helps me this year but bad long term, so I might counter cam/kamara for Rodgers but ideally I could give up a wr for brees or Watson (I have brown, evans, Michael Thomas, fitz, Hogan so pretty loaded there)

116 targets
75 catches
1093 yds
7 TDs

Those are nice WR12-WR18 numbers.

Thanks for pointing this out. I just looked up the numbers myself and indeed you're correct (only 62 yards/game). For the 7-game stretch in 2013, Jordy's 16-game pace numbers are:

110 targets
73 catches
999 yds
2 TDs

That was with Flynn for weeks 10-12 and Tolzien for weeks 12-16. But yea let's hope Jordy gets some TDs, haha.

Fwiw, Flynn + Tolzien had neither Cobb nor Adams.

This has tempered my expectations (for Jordy) somewhat, but I'm still rolling with Hundley in a few spots this weekend (incl. a 2+2 league). From what little I've read this week (and remembering a 2015 Eagles preseason game where Hundley played all 4 quarters), Hundley seems to be a considerable upgrade over 2013 Matt Flynn and 2013 Scott Tolzien.

.5 PPR, Ginn or Robby Anderson the rest of the way? I guess Ginn has already had his bye, so that's something.

It's tough but I'd probably go with Anderson just because I'm guessing Snead should take some snaps from Ginn but could easily go either way.

Anderson probably has a safer floor as he is a key part of an actually decent passing offense. Ginn more likely more TD dependent with a higher upside and has more competition for targets. I see no clear choice.

22 man rosters which I don't think is too deep although not shallow I guess. I'm the only owner that has just 1qb rostered (Rivers). A couple of teams have 4+. Still I have a bunch of meh guys that are too good to drop but not helping me like
Brieda, Marlon Mack, Foreman, Collins, Tawan Taylor.

Dropping Wright for Brissett just so I can cover my bye then the really only dead spot on my bench is Roger Lewis but I'd like to see what his targets look like this weekend 1st.
But you have me worried as a must add now kind of guy.
I should probably just snatch him now as my team isn't going anywhere this year though I guess.

filtered for some of the better wr analysis and Ginn was 8 spots higher than Anderson 53 and 61

The guy with Palmer and Bridgewater also has Winston, Mariota, and Bortles, hence why he's open to dealing a QB. I don't think anyone else is in a great spot to do so. He's also 2-4 but like 4th in points so he has a team good enough to make a playoff push. (EDIT: Ugh, I just realized Palmer and Hundley share a bye, so I'm gonna have to start Brissett week 8 no matter what.)

There are two 1-5 teams. One has Evans and Thomas but isn't trading them, as I mentioned. They also have Ryan / Cousins / McCown at QB, maybe I can get a QB cheap.

The other has Rodgers / Goff / Watson at QB and Alshon Jeffrey or maybe Kelvin Benjamin as trade targets. He usually trolls me a lot though so I dunno how serious he is about a deal or what I should offer him for Jeffrey. (The last time I inquired at large about a QB he offered me Aaron Rodgers for Engram and Kamara then instantly retracted it. Did the same thing on a QB trade in another league I'm in. I'll deal with him but I don't want to waste my time.)

I dunno, I'm usually all about getting the best player, but you're so stacked at WR already you'd be downgrading two positions for a minor upgrade at one

I feel like you should be able to offer Brate + a pick for Mariota to that guy. You only carry 5 QBs if you're gonna trade one.

That's what I was thinking too. At first I was like "Oh Antonio!" but I'm not sure the net is totally worth it.

Like, which Brown? Antonio? John? Jaron? Neither make much sense.

Obvious no if Antonio.
Obvious yes if John/Jaron.

You all are over here playing the cards. Our hero getting ajayi for Carr is playing the man!
I was able to trade away Rodgers for Brown prior to last week. Ha. I initiated the trade.

Honestly if you didn't put this KC kicker on your team, you weren't paying attention.

There are 3 of them this year that should just outclass the other kickers by leaps and bounds. Don't recall that being the case in fantasy for a while. 4 pt/g gap between them and the #10-#12 kicker is no joke. For context there are 4 pts between AJ Green (WR2) and the WR12.

Update on my earlier posts: I got offered Alshon Jeffery for Alvin Kamara. I'll miss Kamara and worry about Jeffrey's injury history and inconsistency, but also I feel like I might be stupid not to take this?
