As annoying as it is that there are more quality 1bs thus far than you know what to do with allow me to make matters worse for you: Duda has quietly been very very good

Enormous walk rate, doing fantastic thus far against lefties and is going to be in a lineup that has somehow become very stacked even before Cespedes gets back

i still don't buy Santana's run (terrible ISO, huge BABIP, lots of grounders) but since it's going to be last call on him today I think you have to pick him up and hope the reasons he's so enticing are realized

Sano looks like a big sell high. It's not even just that he regressed but how it happened. Ks for may at 43%, walks down, BABIP up

It's distinctly possible that with how hard he swings and how often he strikes out a BABIP of .400+ is easily sustainable cuz he'll have a greater LD and HR/FB than most/all but nothing about him fosters reliability

Why else would you call him up? Seems like it's just a slow increase in pitches, but he looked so good last year in AAA

I mean I agree in theory and I picked him up everywhere but it just seems unusual they call him up before he's stretched out even a little

Agreed. There's some speculation it's to help cover Erasmo's start today due to pitching last night too. Nothing definite yet
