Perhaps a little tilted against you but you need the depth. I'd have countered to remove Benoit from the deal maybe. But he's not that valuable anyways.

So far ive been quicker on the trigger to scoop new closers so Benoit didn't cost me too much. I have davis kimbrel and Bush still.

How bad did I lose?

I'm in panic mode over here sitting with solid "1-3" in RBI, HR, and SLG. I believe in my ability to find elite streaming level pitchers off the WW due to the shallowness of the league, but not in my ability to find a guy who is gonna pull me out of a hole in power. I also currently am "positionally weak" at 3B (Have Carpenter there) and my OF sucks (KDavis, AndrewBen, Inciarte), so Sano seemed to tick all the right boxes.

Also I know some people are really high in Nola. I'm not a huge believer, but it's a QS league so he gets some boost there and his upside is probably a top 20 pitcher, in which case I won the trade.

Seems fine given your categories. Even a 2016 Sano, which wasn't that great at all, would help you in HR/SLG.

how worried about osuna should we be? i have to think his rope is pretty long if grilli is the next best option

also, how sold are we on brantley yet? i basically have an option to grab him in a dynasty league, current OF is yoenis/bruce/pence/heyward/dyson/judge, so its not like im terribly deep, but so far am doing just fine.

I'd rather hold both than speculate on Garrett. Young pitchers often have innings limits and don't always go deep into games.

Graveman will be back next week, he threw 186 innings last year, and Nova goes deep into games, both of those are important in QS leagues.

If you had to drop one I guess I'd drop Graveman though.

in a league with k/9 instead of strikeouts (6x6 with obp+total bases instead of batting avg and losses added on pitching side) i just got a preliminary offer of aroldish chapman or kenley jansen for haniger and fransico rodriguez. my relievers are pretty ****ty with f-rod, feliz, bush, kelley, glover, and capps and my outfielders are pollock, hamilton, ozuna, broxton, calhoun. i can only start 3 the vast majority of the time because we have 2 utility spots and i have goldy, votto, and hanley ramirez. how high are we on haniger? that fangraphs article today http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/mitch...ne-boring-one/ makes me salivate

i'd trade haniger for carrasco. I think he's for real though. could be a good all around player especially with OBP/TB he's very valuable imo. I would not trade him for any closer either

Yes, its definitely a more than fair offer, and one I would usually be thrilled to accept. I was just giving examples of what kind of return is reasonable to expect for Haniger right now (at least in a keeper league).
In my particular case I turned it down because my pitching is pretty solid and my OF is banged up with JDM and Dahl both still down. Also Haniger is only $3 to keep and Carrasco is close to $40 but that obv doesnt apply to everyone

Guy in my 12 team 12 category roto league has 126 pts with only 2 pts in saves. Has Thames Freeman and Trout plus a great rotation. Gg.

Good news is since his team is so stacked there should be a close race for 2nd in the other categories. Maybe he's an idiot and won't trade for steals/saves and I can backdoor a win or 2nd

Wade Miley struck out 11 over eight innings Thursday, allowing one run in a no-decision against the Reds.
Miley was just about perfect, allowing only two hits and walking just one over his eight frames. The only blemish against him was a Joey Votto solo homer in the fourth inning. Miley has now turned in three strong outings to start the year, boasting a 1.89 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 24/8 K/BB ratio over 19 innings.
