hehe, I had Anderson in our league last year and have been enjoying his ludicrous ADP. He's legit.

Not nearly as shocking as hill's ADP in spite of every last bit of evidence suggesting he's a top 5 or better fantasy option

do we think what daniel murphy did is an aberration or sustainable somewhat? I'm puzzled by his rise. He hit appreciably less groundballs and more hard hit balls without a noticeable explanation for these in terms of pull/oppo etc. not like his discipline got better with an in-line BB% last year. is he a top 30 player?

baker's reputation is that despite all the negatives he is a great hitting instructor. there was a massive rise in the nationals hard hit % and decline in soft hit % from 2015 to 2016 despite harper's massive drop-off. it doesn't seem unreasonable to attribute those gains and specifically murphy's massive uptick to baker (or his coaching staff)'s teachings

to that end i do buy murphy's power in so much as i think what he was last year is a closer representation as far as what to expect this year than his mets career

Murphy's rise started before 2016, fwiw. The 2015 playoffs were clearly an outlier, but he's allegedly made an adjustment before then that paid dividends.

His 2016 numbers are also deceiving, since his start was like all-time bad. once he got his **** together, he was good.

It's basically every reason seager went as high as he did last year minus SS (which he's still likely to gain eligibility in this year)

ok so it seems in this format pomeranz, bundy and berrios have little to no value. hernandez lost a ton of value. teheran being your ace is probably not a good thing

ks is a category and you have bruce, gomez and schoop. also not good

in spite of that i think your offense can be fine but your pitching needs an ENORMOUS amount of work for you to be competitive. in your shoes i'm probably trading marte for pitching. i know that's a huge hit to your steals but the only other players i think you can get trade value for right now (rizzo/votto) are players i wouldn't trade

12 Teams. I can also pick up some lesser known prospects and stash if needed since we have like 10 bench slots. However most Top prospects are taken.
