in our 2p2 dynasty, im currently 2nd and hurp is 1st. were facing each other this week.

he has gary sanchez and rich hill. he has 10 HR and 24 RBI...as of wednesday.

this feels personal and not great.

edit: it helps that bellinger & bradley are on my team.

Goddamit Sale!
Traded for him and somehow didn't get him in my lineup his first 2 starts where he went 15 innings with 25 Ks and 2 QS, then LUCKY ME i get him in his past 2 starts where he goes a total of 10 innings, gives up 10 ER, and doesn't record a QS or W.

my pitching staff with Kershaw, Sale, CMart, Carrasco, Ray, Nelson and others has been dog**** for the past month

Tyler Mahle being called up for Reds to start Sunday for Homer Bailey (finally). Small sample, but btwn AA/AAA this year, 2.06 ERA, 0.963 WHIP, 8.6 SO/9. Worth keeping an eye on and possibly stream (or more)

Thanks for the replies. I suppose its only a question of 2 spots since Belli and Judge are locks.
Starting to believe Stanton in the 2nd might too hard to give up as well... if the fluke injuries were really the only thing holding him back and that new stance made his power play up even more, he could be a top 5 pick for the forseeable future, no?

Devers/JDM/Bregman/Ramirez really tough

I'm still not taking him. Too risky and couldn't you just draft him with your first round pick?

Ramirez/belly/judge are way too of value. You're picking between JDM and devers for that last slot imo

In theory, sure I could draft him in the first round, but that almost never works out.

Also I didn't mention this before (just so I could get thoughts on value w/o letting other factors influence it) but I have to keep a pitcher and that would likely be Kershaw in the 1st rd.

Trying to figure out how gary Sanchez situation will be handled this week...lineup locks at 4 PM today so I'm assuming I gotta start some scrub on the wire in case Gary only play 2 games this week

Does anyone want to tell me how dumb I am for dropping Thames? 12 team deep league

My reasoning is I have R and HR locked up, solid in RBI, and really only need SB and AVG. Tommy La Stella seems more valuable right now overall, esp since Thames is mostly riding my bench anyways.

Maybe he still has some trade value, I donno

Thames is very droppable in 12 team leagues, especially redrafts. If there's someone you like better on the wire, I wouldn't hesitate to drop him.

I wouldn't lose much sleep dropping Thames especially if you don't use OBP. Not sure La Stella would be my #1 choice but chasing AVG/SB ain't easy for sure

Ramos is a top 5 catcher next year. Well #5 behind Posey Contreras Sanchez and Realmuto in some order, but top 5 nonetheless

I ended up starting Brian McCann in my H2H points league (not categories, FF style) and feeling good about it after Sanchez didnt go off tonight. Hoping he takes his suspension asap so I can start him in the finals
