Where do you guys think Rendon gets drafted next year? I have him in a keeper league and I'm trying to decide if I should sell or hold on to him. It's a points league without a penalty for strike outs but heavily pitching weighted. So I'd only be looking to keep him if he's a top 20-25ish overall bat.

Nothing seems too unsustainable for Rendon IMO, its more injury risk than talent risk. Even if there is some drop in terms of batting average, the Nats are gonna just be full steam ahead again next year when healthy. Might even be upside on the R/RBI if he could hit 5th in a lineup behind Eaton Turner Harper Murphy

estrada was dropped. i looked over his profile and i can only surmise he's being BABIP'd to death. nothing else has changed negatively. anyone disagree?

seems likely not good, watching the game he looked in a fair amount of pain. plus anything with a back is never good, its not like its something that can just heal per se

sure, but i would counter that by saying it's substantially the same defense with a gold glove CF and a motley crew that he's being doing well with over the years. Also, Estrada seems likely to get traded out of Rogers Center too which should only help

Yanks working toward trade for Gray, Alonso
According to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com, the Yankees are "making progress toward" a trade with the A's that would involve both Sonny Gray and Yonder Alonso.

Feinsand notes that Oakland has been "heavily scouting the Yankees' system of late." Gray is also believed to be drawing serious trade interest from the Nationals, Dodgers, Astros, and Braves. The 27-year-old right-hander holds a 3.66 ERA, 1.176 WHIP, and 85/28 K/BB ratio in 91 innings this season and he is under contractual control through 2019. Alonso, a 30-year-old first baseman batting .264/.363/.535 with 21 home runs in 89 games, is scheduled to become a free agent this winter.
