with heyward to the DL, im up to 9 players on the DL now. granted, its a 31 roster spot dynasty league. but still. nearly 1/3 of my team is on the DL. im not even mad anymore

I have 12 players on the DL in my 11 team AL only league where the rosters are super short to begin with. Somehow, I'm still in contention.

Yahoo just vetoed my trade in my ypl, I really don't get why. Has anyone else had anything bizarre like this happen- they refuse to provide an explanation

I traded Hanley pre injury for Wade Davis to a guy who has closers but is last in 3 off cats and I'm last in svs

This trade a few weeks ago went through so not sure why mine didn't
Guy traded colome and R Hill for Carrasco and Strasburg which seems absurd to me

This one guy that vetos every trade for sure vetoed but in ypls yahoo gets final say on whether something is vetoed or not. Just seems like a bizarre trade to veto

He gave up a lot of fly balls to the warning track in yesterday's start. Wouldn't start outside Petco imo

What do you guys think about Maxwell catcher for A's. They dumped Vogt and clearly want to play this guy. He has hit very well in the small sample since brought up. I took a shot at him in a couple spots since I figure he will be no worse than the typical .200 hitting catchers that seem to be the standard.

as to maxwell, seems like he's nothing special at all. strong walk rate, 0 power, will be a fixture in the bottom 1/3 of the lineup

2 thoughts:

1. looks like dexter fowler finally pulled his head out of his ass and more pressing...
2. brian goodwin really intrigues me. he's crushed as the #2 hitter in werth's absence and while i expect werth to take back the #2 spot when he comes back goodwin's done well enough to displace taylor imo. in the short run he's a viable option with some amount of upside longterm. power rates pretty well, speed rates very well

Redraft league, probably .. especially if its a batting average league. You're gonna take a little bit of an expected R/RBI hit (Story still better there on per game basis even as bad as he's been).

Need some advice here.

I was prepared to drop Starling Marte and add Syndergaard (via Waivers) and hold him on the DL for the duration of his stay there.

My dilemma now is I was offered Corey Knebel for Marte now, and I only have 2 relievers.

H2H 5X5 league

Do I reject the trade, or proceed with my waiver claim and have that DL slot locked up for a long time?
