Machado is struggling bad, Cruz got hurt in a HBP today, and Quintana has bombed. If you expect Machado to get back into form, as well as Quintana, and Cruz is fine, it's a snap deal. But obviously you're buying very low and hoping

But you need saves badly you said, so not sure what this is accomplishing?

It's not addressing any immediate need, but it'll give me enough hitting to move hitting for svs. There's a guy w lots of svs in my league that needs hitting and is fairly reasonable

I checked roto world and they had cruzs issue as very minor. I think Machado will be fine ROS. I'm concerned w Quintana, but figure if he has even a 20% chance of turning it around then the other 2 are more than enough. Maybe I'm underplaying his and machados struggles though

Everyone's always fine after a HBP in the hand, then they're pulled. Until MRI says he's cleared (or he's back in the lineup), I'd be hesitant.

It's a fine deal to do, just you're buying 2 struggling guys and 1 "day to day"

why would u try to trade cargo now?

you're supposed to trade guys that are doing much better than they really are for guys you think are currently undervalued.

you don't trade a guy at the floor of his value.

he's trying to get him dirt cheap off you in hopes that a month from now he's back to being cargo

Altherr for Cargo is an awful deal for you. Altherr is running way hot and at the absolute maximum he will produce. The guy is just fishing for you to give up a player with massive breakout potential for a player who is two bad weeks away from being outright droppable.

Just throwing up rosters and saying "what should I do?" is not going to get good advice. What are you trying to accomplish with this trade?

Those players are not equivalent to each other... you'd probably get Santana, he's not trading lamb...

I would not make a cargo for Santana trade if I were you.

As others have said cargos value is at its lowest, keep him you won't get enough back for him

Lamb is most definitely worth a lot more than Beltre. Dude just missed 2 months because hes so damn old, and even if he comes back 100% healthy he has zero chance to do what Lamb has done over the past 2 months. Going forward, I strongly believe that Lamb is just flat out better.

Turner's value is debateable, but I would never give up Lamb for him straight up. Granted, I've been lower on Turner all along, going back to last season, but so far his struggles have been proving me right. In either case, its not debatable that Lamb is a much much better hitter right now.

And Altuve is so far ahead of any of them that your offer is rather laughable to be honest.

Pineda probably is worth a little more than Melancon, but they are minor pieces.
And Piscotty and and Kepler are totally inconsequential in this trade.

I'm not a big fan of Quintana, but he should be better than this right?
Seager is my starting 3B, and I only play Bregman 1-2 times per week at UT. That said, Im pretty high on Bregman long term and feel like he is the most valuable piece in this deal.

What do you guys think?

Ben Lively being called up to start (and probably stay in rotation) for Phillies. Had a sub 1 WHIP in AAA, and 7 BB (!!) in 56 IP, with 45K. Looked good last year in a bit over half a season at AAA, and is lined up vs SF then at ATL. A good streamer pickup with more potential

Realmuto available in YPL, current C is Perez. Could swap them out, or drop Mazara for him (yuk). Any reason to?

If you're not playing Owings at SS/MI hes kinda useless right? Schebler isn't worth a whole lot either and I doubt you ever start him with those other options.
On the other hand, whats the appeal of Realmuto? Hes a catcher that can hit over .250 and steal a bag once every 2 weeks? Meh

I mean, he's often Util and slots in at infield when needed when someone's out since Carpenter can move around anywhere to fill as well.
Agreed, just wondering if it's worth being able to fill C as needed with someone out, plus Util if needed. (His SB's is definitely slowed down so far though)
