Picked him up everywhere after the trade and now feel emboldened enough to brag about it and advocate everyone else follow suit

SS is barren and he went 4/4 with a bomb his first game moved up to 5th

I'd brag more about still having Rich Hill imo

I picked up Beckham in 3 spots this week but unfortunately haven't plugged him into the lineup yet. Once I do he will likely suck

Beckham pretty good

Can't wait for brain dead Buck to bench him for hardy when he's healthy

7x7 with standard 5x5 plus Ks and OPS for hitters and Ls and K:BB for pitchers.

Two keepers

Just shipped Judge/Folty/2nd

for

Ozuna/Posey/Darvish/18th

My two keepers will be Altuve/Votto.

Was running Rupp/Suzuki @ C. SP kinda weak.

Thoughts?

Feel like you got raped.

Your keepers are fine but in a few years judge is gonna be a lot better than votto. Posey meh and your second round pick on top?

Judge > ozuna and posey and I feel like your second round pick is probably better than darvish

I have Judge nowhere and am still not 100% buying in .. and I agree with wreck. No issue rolling with Altuve/Votto another couple years but seems like you should be able to get someone's best 4-5 non-keepers (in fairness you more or less did this) for him without giving up the draft pick.

yeah, the draft pick is what made it a little bleh for me. You're not keeping Judge imo, esp with his K rate so high, and you're trying to win now. I don't see much wrong

does anyone know if Leiter is starting as a pitcher this week? It has him as a 2 start pitcher for period 19 on CBSsports, but then in fantasytracker it lists him as having no games?

Man is it just my leagues, or are good closers nearly impossible to trade for?
Im in 3 keepers leagues where I have been trying to upgrade my bullpen and have had almost zero success. And all 3 of these leagues count Saves+Holds so its not like closers specifically are super valuable or anything. Nobody ever keeps them (the number of players kept ranges from 5-8 players) so I just don't get it.

For example in the 2+2 keeper league I have had no problems whatsoever trading for both SP and impact bats. I've been able to acquire guys like Carrasco, CMart, Sale, JDM, Turner, and Rizzo without having to go back and forth for weeks on end. Similar story in the other 2 leagues.
But I can't buy a proven closer to save my life. Wtf?

Yeah one of my leagues is the exact same way. That ****** Russ guy that was mentioned earlier this year is in my keeper league and has 5 closers stashed... and they are literally his best players and he won't trade any of them

bullpen can win you games, and RPS are so volatile when someone has a RP that's solid they'll keep them over virtually anyone. i had to trade bumgarner for diaz and giles in my one league this year; i'm glad i was right (so far)

I'm in a 12 team 6x6 (OBP, R, RBIs, 2Bs, HRs, SBs - - W, S, Holds, Ks, ERA, WHIP). Auction league ($265 budget), can keep 4 players with $4 inflation per year. Only 1 utility spot, no MI or CI. I'm currently in 3rd place.

My lock keepers as of now are Altuve (will be $25) and Jake lamb (will be $9). The tricky spot I'm in is that I also have Moncada (will be $10). Next year I could use him at utility and when Lamb is facing a lefty next, but not sure that is a good use of resources.

My other keeper options and their prices for next season:

Alex Wood ($5)
Cory Knebel ($5)
Edwin Diaz ($9)
Eric Thames ($7)
Bradley Zimmer ($5)
Steven Souza ($5)

So - would you make it a point to deal Moncada by the trade deadline (Monday) to go for it this season, or plan to keep him as a utility guy barring a great offer?

That's tough. There's some value in the three bats in terms of keepers, but obviously not the difference maker potential like with Moncada. Not very helpful but it'd really depend on the offers I got for him, have to be pretty enticing to make me pull the trigger.

YPL I'm in 2nd place atm, with Kershaw/Stras/McCullers/Paxton (and Salvy active in C), can't drop any of those SP's right? just hold strong?

McCullers if you had to, I guess. That's ugly.

Goddamn, Devers is such a beast. Just took a lefty opposite field up and over the monster with a flick of his wrists. Special talent.

Apparently Im the only owner who hadn't yet realized he's a must start in all formats, even against lefties.

And while I'm thinking about it, how would you rank these hitters as keepers? Can only keep 4 of them:

Rizzo 1st rd (with 2B elig)
Stanton 2nd
Jose Ramirez 10th
Bellinger 16th
JDM 19th
Bregman 25th
Judge 26th
Devers 26th

Bellinger, judge, devers feel like no brainers. Assuming top talent is kept, I think rizzo is too. But bregman is hard to pass on for that price

Who's on your September Callup Minor League Shortlist?

Not necessarily guys that are the highest rated, but more guys that will be looking at a solid amount of opportunity.

Honeywell, Willie Calhoun, Willy Adames, Chance Adams, are a few guys that are pretty likely to get called up and have a chance to make an impact.
Walker Buehler, Francisco Mejia, Senzel, Kopech only have an outside shot at a callup but have the talent to be worth grabbing if it happens.

If its a keeper league and you're looking for guys who will be valuable next year and beyond then Eloy Jimenez, Vlad Jr., Brendan Rodgers, ROnald Acuna, and Victor Robles are all must adds

(I'm assuming that all the high end prospects who have already been called up are owned)
