Motter at 1B and hitting 4th, weird they won't play him in OF, wonder if Vogelbach goes down, or they just live in this cluster

Every scouting report I've seen says Vogelbach shouldn't be playing in the field.

Agreed, but Cruz is your DH. Why call him up if he's not going to play 1B? At least give him a chance to see how bad he really is at 1B, and if he could get better

Most of it is fueled by a .379 BABIP and crazy HR/FB. But he is actually hitting fewer fly balls overall than he had previously in his career, so dont expect him to reach 20 HR.
That said, hes getting the opportunity to play everyday and should get over 600 PAs for the first time.
12-15 HR and 20-25 steals should put him comfortably in the SS #8-12 range as long as he can keep his avg over .275
If you play with MI he should definitely be owned.

I guess I misread your original post. Vogelbach was originally in the lineup at 1B until Cruz was scratched. Motter took Cruz' spot in the lineup.

Was Motter really out of the lineup? I'm just surprised Motter is seeing more time at 1B then OF, they keep putting Gamel in OF over him which is just surprising to me. He's played 16 games at 1B, over 200 in OF in his career (and not many starts at 1B)

It'd probably be Solarte and Souza for me. Solarte is a borderline empty average guy, especially in that lineup. Souza, Motter, and Suarez are all pretty much riding hot bats, but Souza as an OF only is probably the most easily replaceable.

Kier would be my first drop. And then its a tossup between Inciarte and Solarte. Neither offers much upside and is not someone Id want to start regularly... it would basically come down to which position I was weaker at.

Nova's a stud. Wish I drafted him in my QS roto league. I drafted all these high upside young arms like Taillon / Nola / Manaea who can't go 6 innings to save their life. Great in H2H i think, but I won't make that mistake again in Roto with limited starts, it's gonna come back to bite me I'm sure. Hard to find QS on the waiver wire and you can always boost your ratios with middle relievers. Fell too much in love with K/9 and not enough in IP/start
