I rostered Kershaw on every LU and I *still* lost money. Someone give me some good cheer, because I feel terrible.

Baseball is pretty high variance. Good players in good spots can struggle for extended periods (Votto). Bad players can hit like all-stars for a long time and the fish will pay a king's ransom for them (Parra). I began last season by losing 50% of my br in two months before I got hot in the 2nd half and ended with ~8x of my starting br. I didn't really change my approach much, just kept looking for value while constantly evaluating/scrutinizing my process.

Also, having Kershaw in every lineup isn't really the key detail for yesterday. A lot of cash lineups were going to have Kershaw, and once you pay 13k for a pitcher, that leaves a relatively small set of good spots to choose from for the other 8 positions. I would expect a ton of overlap vs. the field, which means the outcome will be decided by a relatively few number of hitters. So maybe you (1) ran cold on hitters, (2) chose poorly, or (3) were playing mostly against decent opponents who didn't make any huge mistakes.

If you had Kershaw in your lineup that means you weren't playing in the main slate on dk. So you prolly

Has anyone ever had "flashplayer.exe" automatically try to download itself while you viewing a page on fangraphs.com? It's happened to me twice now... I've run multiple malware scans and no viruses were found on my end, so I'm assuming fangraphs may have a virus on their site.

The first time it tried to download itself, my Anti-Virus immediately moved it to the virus vault. The 2nd time it happened, chrome automatically blocked it before it could be downloaded. This behavior hasn't happened while viewing any other webpages, only when I'm on fangraphs.

Long time 2p2 user on a new account, just recently back to the forums since Black Friday.

Surprised there isn't a bigger DFS community here as a lot of poker players seem to play DFS.

Any grinders out there care to mention some of their favorite resources? I'll mostly be playing MLB. Are sites like RotoGrinders or other freemium content providers worth it? Seems like a lot of the articles are anecdotal because someone binked a big GPP a year ago.

Appreciate any advice in getting started.

What's the point when a pitcher just prices himself out? $12100 for Arrieta against the Nationals just seems crazy. I realize he's insane right now but he's also "just" 7.7K/9.
