Really liked this draft. first 4 feel good. not sure about the Henry Snead turn. pretty soft league
Don't like the CJ pick but getting Keenen in the 4th is pretty great. Also don't like the Fitz or Snead picks much, which other WR's were available in those spots? Cleveland turn was good value. Cousins and no backup is dangerous imo. I'd prefer to pair him with someone like Mariota or Stafford or something if I'm rolling with him as my qb1. Fuller over Coleman seems questionable at best, but maybe you realized having 3 Browns would feel pretty dirty.

Live draft so I can't post the whole auction. I got caught twice price enforcing, which apparently sucks trying to do in an 8 person team. I always say I am going to weight more towards studs and then I don't pull it off. Feeling very meh about this team:

QBCarson Palmer$2
RBDoug Martin$10
WROdell Beckham Jr.$30
WRDez Bryant$16
WRT.Y. Hilton$8
FlexEddie Lacy$10
TECoby Fleener$1
DefSeahawks$1
KMason Crosby$1
BenchThomas Rawls$6
BenchGolden Tate$3
BenchJulian Edelman$6
BenchMatt Jones$3
BenchLarry Fitzgerald$3

Total$100

Feedback appreciated. Waiver wire is pretty open so have the ability to make changes.

I've never done an 8 team league, but like wheat said it seems like getting studs is key (especially which a shirt bench since there will be good waiver pick ups).

I would have spent $1 on my whole bench. That would save you $16 which could have upgraded you either Hilton or Martin to a stud.

#9. Overall I'm quite happy. The only pick I didn't like and felt confused at was #7 - Rashad Jennings. I was hoping to grab Deangelo Williams that round but he got snagged. Had to load up on RBs given Green, Dez, Tate in first 5 rounds. I didn't like any RBs in that spot at round 4 (took Wilson) or round 5 (Tate) and felt the guys are took were better value.

I'm happy I got both Ivory/Yeldon. Wouldn't be particularly pleased with just 1 of them.

thoughts and my team and overall? thanks.

In 2/2 standard I think you have to take rbs in 4/5 over Russell and tate when you already have 2 wr1s

I got Latavius at 3.

You really like Forte, Stewart, Murray, Mathews, Gordon, Langford instead? I had them all as lower tiers. If anything I think maybe I take Foster instead of Kelce in round 6 but that was risky.

I think so... In 2/2 standard you're rarely starting another wr after your 1st 2 picks, with how finicky the rb position can be and without an rb1 to start, I think getting the 2 best avail rbs in 4/5 is more valuable than russ/kelce

I think you need WR help. With that format, you want to be starting a WR in your flex. I'm not seeing a strong flex starter for you. Probably should have went WR/WR in the 1st 2 rounds.

how'd you guys like the dude who picked gostowski and justin tucker with back to back picks?

it was a live draft too so no misclicks.

curious people's thoughts on team 3 vs team 11 specifically.

Team 3 botched everything badly

Team 2 is clear winner imo, 4/5 also look good.

Idk how I missed it in my list but Michael Crabtree is in my flex. And I was gonna go wr/wr but aj green was gone and I decided to go Bell/Allen.

The server is German, but most of the people there speak English (and are probably American). The games are great and the people are really friendly.
I don't have anything against going 4wr's but then you got to really draft a lot of scrub rb's after that and he's only got 3 total. I'm guessing his strategy was to keep drafting WR's and then trade for a RB?
That strategy never works.

3 and 11 look very similar; it's close imo.

That said, lol at Maclin at 2.10.

For team 11, I don't like the idea of taking DJax at 7.11 as a WR5 - sure, he has upside, which is what you want for your fifth receiver, but the sit/start decisions probably won't be easy - should've taken Snead or Diggs. Woodhead is a bit early at 4.02 (should've taken Latavius), though I suppose I could understand reaching if you absolutely think you have to have him (the rest of the RBs in round 4 suck, and there's probably only a ~25% chance Woodhead makes it back to 5.11)

agree with alot of this except im real big on djax.
think cousins is gonna have to air it out a ton and djax is playing for a new contract so i feel like he's gonna have a monster year plus with bridgewater out for the season i want none of diggs.

would be happy to prop that djax scores more points than snead if you want.

as for woodhead, i thought about taking murray but i really like woodhead just personal preference not saying im necessarily right on this one, but i felt certain he wouldn't make it back to me so felt i had to reach.

and i was validated as 3 diff people all let out an audible "godamnit" when i announced my woodhead pick and said it was going to be their next pick so no shot i was getting him if i waited.

i know im bigger on keenan and djax than most (cal homer obv) but think if they stay healthy could be absolute beasts and think keenan has top 7 WR potential.

i'm also alot higher on jordy than most, partly cuz packers are my team and jordy is one of my fav players, but i think again if he's healthy he could be a monster and think arod has something to prove after last seasons aids.

i also wanted to diversify a bit as i have allen robinson and brandon marshall on my other big $$$ league and none of keenan and jordy so wanted them on at least one of my teams.

so i know i reached on jordy but was another situation where i knew if i waited he was gone so just a question if i wanted to take alshon instead and i decided to go with the guy i want to sweat season long.

with 6 teams making the playoffs i felt like i wanted to build a team that had alot of variance and explosive upside cuz the playoffs are such a variance monster i wanted a team that could win it all by putting up huge numbers in playoffs.

i could be totally off who knows.

mostly i just like drafting a team that im going to want to sweat every week and that means loading up on all my favs that i can reasonably justify.

i think team 3 has abysmal RBs and pretty sure i should be at least a small fav to score more points than him over the course of the season.

but it all just comes down to who runs good with injuries.

i really wanted to get gordon as i think he's gonna be an absolute stud when he comes back.

How would you Rate my team?

10 Team PPR picking from 10
Flex spot allows a 2nd QB

QB (Start 1 + Flex) Russell Wilson (4) - Matt Ryan (12) - Dak Prescott (14)

RB (Start 2) Zeke Elliot (2) - Mark Ingram (3) - Melvin Gordon (6) - TJ Yeldon (10)

WR (Start 3) AJ Green (1) - Eric Decker (5) - Mike Crabtree (9) - Tyler Lockett (7) - John Brown (8) - Tavon Austin (13) - Rishard Mathews (15)

TE (1) Zack Ertz (11)

Did I do something wrong? I see other peoples "rate my teams" get comments but mine got ignored

why don't we like CJA? pretty big fan of him. Rawls better?

The Wr's that went off after Fitz were Marvin Jones, Hurns, Jmatt, Crabtree, Josh Gordon, John Brown.

I would probably take a WR or QB in the 3rd. RB def the least important in this format.

A bit worried about Denver's offense stalling. Teams will be stacking the box until QB proves something. I have been taking Rawls before him. Not in love though.

My plan was to take a WR in the 3rd but the best available at that time was Hilton or D. Thomas. I Believe Hilton to be over valued at that spot and with Thomas QB situation in flux I thought the best and safest pick was to take a Top 10 PPR RB.

I do agree with your sentiments tho, I would of preferred taking one of my targeted WRs in that spot.
