This was a live in person draft, so tons of LOLtastic picks. Im sure I had my share of them.

How'd it go, and where did I make big mistakes?

I think you could had taken someone like walker/Kielce instead of Matthews since your RB depth without him would still be awesome. You have no need for him- when would you ever use him ahead of Johnson/woodhead/Foster(assuming he gets RB1 spot on team), and when would you ever flex him over DT? You have to hope Jared cook's hype is right now.
I also am not a fan of Brandon cooks this year. What other WRS were available?

I think everything else is pretty good. Trade for a TE.

I think you did fine. Everyone's probably chasing the guy who drafted Le'Veon. He got himself a nice team. I may have picked someone else over Fitz in the 3rd for you.

Pretty happy with lineup. I'm sure I missed some spots but think it turned out alright.

How do we like team 5? Also lol, team 8 with Cousins 8th overall and DST/K, 8/9th round.



My thoughts: I wanted Cobb instead of Olsen but the trifecta of Nelson/Rodgers/Cobb was too scary.

Didn't get a DST because can put Dion on IR and grab one. Generally happy with the draft. Didn't intend to grab a QB that early. Thought of grabbing Demaryius but decided to go the QB route, maybe to double up Nelson/Rodgers.

I like Floyd more than Tate, but that's probably close.

Sterling Sheperd over Jordan Matthews seems strange to me, given ODB already. Are you ever going to start them both? Is this like a handcuff choice?

Overall, nice work.

#3 is very good, IMO. That was my fave out of that.

Thing I don't like about Floyd is that AZ has so many mouths to feed but either him or Tate in that spot I am fine with. Plus he has burned me in the past. I just don't really want a piece of Phillys offense but Matthews is probably the best piece and would be a fine #5 receiver. Hopefully my big 3 WRs stay healthy and productive and Shepard gets one bye week start unless he is so good I have to find a way to get him in. Things get real murky after the first 3/4 rounds and lots of arguments can be made in any direction.

Appreciate the feedback. Yeah, I don't love the Larry pick there, I was considering taking Olsen there(which I almost never do) just because I didn't really like anyone else there, but he got taken right before me. Also I thought at least one of Gio, Duke, and Woodhead would fall back to me at 5.

Brady is going too high in every draft I've been a part of. Missing first 4 weeks, also has the bye, playoffs against Denver and Jets. No thanks.

I like this draft for a 16-teamer. Only mistake I see is Ebron over Crowell, I don't think there's any value taking Ebron there over another late TE a few rounds later, while Crow has a chance to put up RB2 numbers this year.

As rafiki said, the Bell team looks solid too. Lots of really bad teams though, so you should be competitive.

Jeez, I'd like to see this draft board, must have been some really really bad picks.

Lamar and Rawls there are crazy value, good job.

In 12-team std, I think Rodgers over freeman/mccoy/lacy/martin (whoever you prefer) in round 3 is a pretty big mistake. I think the advantage that group gives over Gore/Gio/etc. is bigger than what Rodgers gives you over a later combo of something like Tyrod/fitz/carr/bortlers/etc.

If you want good feedback, get draftboards people!

Thanks. I probably agree with you. I'm usually drafting QB later but for some reason when with him here. I think I'm sort of in an anti freeman/lacy/shady camp, maybe unwarranted. Martin I'd consider.

I really don't like the receivers. I got to the draft late and the guy running it knew I wanted Julio so it was mid first round when I got there. I completely forgot about reverse snake and took Murray as he was the last of the 2nd tier backs on the board and told myself I'd get TY, Cooks, Cooper on the turn. I don't like Edelman at all but at least he'll do a job. After that I'm hurting at WR big time. Took a bunch of guys with upside but no one to go with week 1, while I have feel I have 5 viable RBs with one of those 5 being a handcuff.

I am happy that I got value at QB and TE late in some guys who are pretty reliable when they're on the field. Love the RB depth. Just hate the WR. I don't get trading after the draft before the season starts but thinking of shopping Murray for a WR2. What are your thoughts on the draft?

Agree with you, looks like it would be much better if you went WR in 2. Who is your TE and what are the positions?

I posted the draft board as an edit if you can read it. I'm the 3rd team obviously. The reverse snake killed me. I could maybe inquire about tradiing Murray to the Hilton, Cooks, Cooper owners who they picked after Murray anyway and roll with Foster as my RB2 then Edelman as my flex.

Like it a lot better with Kelce and with that format vs. a 3wr. I'm lower on Edelman than most, but if he lives up to other people's expectations then you should be ok. Would def investigate those trades though if one of them are weak at RB. Link not working for me.

Julio is more than fine in any format there.

Yea I don't love Edelman either which kind of sucks. But he was by far the best available imo. Moncreif went after him who I think you could make a case for but Edelman has a higher floor if he stays on the field. I realize that's a big if. After Moncreif it was Tate, Maclin, Baldwin, J.Matthews, Fitz, Marvin Jones, John Brown, Gordon (who I really wanted but went way too early), Kelvin Benjamin for the next bunch of receivers taken
