Fantasy Focus (espn, Matthew Berry) duh. Lol. It's entertaining to me and helps me fall asleep.

Gonna challenge myself and try to go all season without looking at weekly rankings once. Probably something some of you do already. I found those things constantly provoked bad decisions for me, and also wasted my time. Found them particularly horrible with QB's and TE's. RB probably the most accurate and WR's somewhere in the middle. Anyway I'll see how it goes the first few weeks. Should be fun.

What's your thought process behind this? Love Hilton this year. I see him out performing his ADP easily.

Kind of in the same boat as wolves. They finally move to the 1TE set and people are now gonna downgrade the WR's? I dunno...

Pretty interesting comparables. I go Martin, Freeman, McCoy myself. Not too hard to put the 28 year old last in my books. And I know Martin is 27, but I like his opportunity and schedule a lot.

Can't do it, all so similar. I think all underperform on what they did last year. Shady might be done, imo, after this year (Williams being out gives him the best shot to put up one more good year). I'd love them all as an rb2 though.

Yeah I don't see how I'll land many of them at their adp right now.

You must really be down on Peterson then. I have Martin very slightly above McCoy atm with Freeman a good drop down.

Have McCoy a clear third of those three

I'll never own AP (outside of maybe auction?) because I won't get to draft him where he's going in a snake. It'll almost always be a WR there.

Totally BBV

My longest running league isn't running this year. It was with my old high school buddies and a $30 entry.

I am not even mad.

I'd be pretty bummed if my oldest league died I think. I kind of hope to be playing mine well into old age.

Not for me. It's my lowest buy in, and it's a standard league. I'm in three full PPR leagues and two 0.5 PPR leagues plus a startup league with newer friends (where I'll have input). It is so different than everything else that I'm not sad to see it go.

The reason I want to be in my longest standing league has nothing to do with money. It could be free. The trophy means way more than a few hundred bucks.

Getting together for our 1st live draft this year for 10 year anniversary of my oldest league in Boston. I'm flying in from Vegas, others from Atlanta, LA, etc.

Redraft for 2 years, 2 person Keeper for 8.

I used to swear by ESPN podcasts, but CBS podcasts (football, baseball, SEC football) are just so much better.

Much more informative and they don't feature a narcissistic blowhard like TMR

Right. Mine has been running since everyone played live poker! Haha. I am of the "online boom" but would play whenever/wherever I heard of a game going. Guys were talking about fantasy football one night at a random home game and an open spot, and I chimed in how I'd fill it if they wanted. Cue many years later, I'm 31, they're mid 50's and super rich (me, not so much), but we still get together every year on labor day evening (nice and drunk) for a live draft in a closed off bar (one of the guys owns it) and we have the time of our lives.

Honestly, I can't imagine a summer without this closing it or being the beginning to football season. Idc what the buy in is; this is the league I've grown most fond of (even over a family league, which leads to cheap wife/in law trades), and I wouldn't trade it for a few hundred dollars (my max buy in, ).

This.

My longest running league a 10 man PPR with guys I went to High School with. This year will be the 22nd year of that league. I've won it 7 times and absolutely lord it over every one of them every time I see them.

We have a guys flying in from Tampa, Cleveland, New York, Boston and Pittsburgh for the draft. We still have dreams of our kids taking over the league.

That's so cool. I'm guessing it hasn't always been PPR though? Have there been any (other) significant changes to the league structure throughout those years (for instance, did you guys ever experiment with "third round reversal" during the years when LT just crushed everything?)

I can't wait to make it to year 20 something of ours. I gotta log in, but I think we must be 14 years into our oldest now. Biggest change for us was moving to head to head format years back. I can't imagine not doing that format now, it's like crack. I think one year we had defensive players and it never stuck.
