Haven't done many mocks or anything yet, so take this with a grain of salt.

Team 1- Really like the first 3 picks with team one, but after that it looks like a whole lotta yuck. Arian in 8 is a good gamble I guess, but I think you jumped the gun picking a QB in rd 5 of a 10 teamer. What other RB's were around for the Forte pick? D'Angelo is a tad high imo, and Sproles is completely unrosterable in this format. That's a helluva lot of old RB's...not the best recipe for success. Not a Fleener fan either, but I know a lot of others are so whatevs I suppose.

Team 2- Seems better, you got a lot of guys that I don't necessarily love this year, but at good values. Brady in rd 7 though seems pretty bad, I guess we value QB's a lot differently. Looks like you're a big RB handcuff guy maybe...I generally disagree with that strat, especially in YPL's, but it seems like it has more merit when drafting this early and didn't cost you much, so perhaps it is more optimal in these spots.

I'm guessing that the folks doing $100 YPLs in July aren't casuals. That said, from scanning Yahoo's ADP, here are RBs I'm happy to take in YPLs after round 7 (at their listed prices):

Langford 8.5
Dion Lewis 9.1
Gore 10.1
Melvin 10.9
Gio B 11.6

Langford is really undervalued imo.

RBs after round 7 that I don't want (at their listed prices):

Ajayi 8.0
Matt Jones 8.8
Ivory 10.3
Ameer Abdullah 11.1
Forsett 12.0

i think that in a 10 teamer, getting 2 1sts is gonna net you the better offer, and in a superflex where QBs are gonna be totally dry after the 2nd rd, grabbing 2 in the 1st cant be all that bad

What are the other roster/starter requirements besides the superflex? Could make a difference regarding whether you want to get 2 QBs in the first 3 rounds or not.

What do people actually expect from him? He was pretty bad with an average QB. Now RG3 is supposed to be the guy lighting him up? Man I dunno. Low end WR2 basically? So many red flags.

I joined an auction superflex dynasty-ish league where you can keep as many as you want but you keep them for what you drafted. Draft 22 players. 1 qb/ 2rb/ 2wr/ 1 superflex/ 1 flex. You can also only pick up 2 players all year. No kickers.

1. What % of the budget should I be spending on a top 3 qb and if I get one of them how much for a 2nd qb?

2. How many TE, QB and def are we ideally drafting. I was guessing 3-4 qbs, 3 TEs and 2 def. that leaves us with 13-14 RBs and WRs.

Well yeah but the guy is studly.
Aggravating when someone gets wr 1 talent for basically nothing.
I mean I wouldn't spend a 5-7th rd pick on him but around 9 or so seems ok??
I dunno. Maybe the bad outweighs the good. I know he gets to practice with the team.. Does he get to play preseason games??
2016 fantasy football thread Quote

Ya, he'll get to play preseason. Guess we have to wait and see what he looks like. He'll have to look really good for me to want to take him in the 3/4 rd. Right now I'd grab him in the 7th or 8th. By those rounds I've basically got my core starters and I don't feel it's too early based on his upside. But if any bad press comes out about him during camp then ill probably pass altogether.

PPR league that starts 1 qb/1rb/2wr/1te/2flex/1superflex. all tds (including passing) are 6 points. If I take the deal, I would draft 5th, 10th, then again at 31.

So I was picking 10/12 in my big money league. Traded up to the 2nd spot for $25,1/3 of, my waiver money. Then traded the 2nd pick for the 5th pick for 20 waiver money. SO I went from 10th to 5th for 5 waiver money hahah. Anyways Im not a 0 RB fan and I seem to do better when I go RB first so Im grabbing Gurley or Johnson here.

I thin you grab TEs way to early. You could get a comparable TE in the 10th pretty easy with Z. Miller, Sefarin, Clay. Im not a fan of Arob, think Hurns will have better year, think henry gonna be a bust, love Coleman and Hightower pick for sure though.

But you drafting Williams in the 6th is pretty bad IMO. Way to early for a guy at best slated to ply only 4 games barring injury but might even be only 2.

PM me if you have a $50-$100 non-ppr league with spots. Have myself + 1-2 friends interested.

Jordy Nelson on the PUP. What's his keeper value now in a league where everyone has to keep four? I have the 8th, 17th, 32nd and so on in a 16-round, 12- team league

Keep 4, ppr, play 3wr, 2rb, te, flex

Edelman (3rd)
Jordy (4th)
Cam (5th)
Woodhead (6th)
Duke Johnson (8th)
McFadden (9th)
Sproles (10th)
Baldwin (13th)
Tavon, Watson, Barber (16th)

No one from the first two rounds could be kept. Thinking Cam and Baldwin are obvious, but keeping a QB is new to me, so I'm concerned. Are Duke and Jordy the final two? Love Edelman and like Woodhead because of the ppr, but may be able to just draft them or better at value.

Not sure if the Elliot thing is all noise. The ADP on him seems ridiculous that there is too much upside in his failure risk that keeping DMC for deeper in-season value is a move I want. Too cute?

2nd year of a 3 year keeper league. Can keep up to 5 players.
Full point ppr/6 point passing td/2 wr/2 rb/flex (wr,rb,te), idp

Which to keep? I pick 11th.
Obvious:
Antonio Brown -1st rounder
David Johnson - free agent pickup (last rounds)
Carson Palmer -11th round

Others to consider
Josh Gordon - free agent (last rounds)
Alshon Jeffrey-2nd round
John Brown - 8th round
Stefon Diggs -16th
Antonio Gates - free agent

Leaning towards brown/Gordon
Thoughts? Thanks!

Diggs too cheap. Has to be obvious even if he is frustrating to play from week to week because of the offense.

Brown is frustrating, too, just less than Diggs.

Brown scored 58 more points and finished 20 spots higher than Diggs last year, I'd happily take him and that offense at that price.

It wouldn't surprise me if he finishes as their #1 wr, but I think the 3 az wrs are going to be fairly close in scoring assuming healthy.

Brown played far more games than Diggs. Their PPGs can't be that different.

Two more games is far more? He averaged almost 2 ppg more in standard

I thought Diggs only played 10 games (was going solely from memory). I generally play in PPR leagues, but Brown outscored Diggs by more (nearly 2.5/game) in PPR.

Note: I did say that Brown was less frustrating than Diggs.

I'd like to join some leagues here this year, $100 and under. I know I'm not a regular poster so I understand is have to send money beforehand, which I'm totally fine with doing. Send me a message of you have spots open.
