Got a dynasty startup coming up in a 10 team superflex league. Got the 10th pick. Was offered the 5th overall pick for my 2nd and 3rd rounders. Do I take the elite talent? Or keep the 2nd and 3rd rounders?

snap take the 5th overall. especially in a 10 team league top loading your talent base is of paramount importance

So you would have 5 and 10?
If so, it's close but probably take it.

Even better if you can counter with his 1.05 for your 2nd and 2017 1st.

Standard for Bell. The stars were totally lined up for an all time great FF season too.

You can pick 2 keepers (12 man league) in .5 PPR (2WR/2RB/TE/Flex), who you take:

Gurley with a 4th
Jordy Nelson with a 12th
Dion Lewis with an 8th

If it matters at all, I'm basically guaranteed to draft one of Antonio, Julio, ODB, Dez, Allen Robinson, Hopkins, Mike Evans, Jeffrey, Gronk, if I decide to keep two RB's. I believe I draft 7th (and Le'veon, Zeke, Charles and many other RBs would absord some of those spots, so I could really get a Dez).

If there are two keepers for every team, why in the world would Antonio, Julio or ODB be available to anyone?

Could be you can only keep for a certain number of years, can't keep players taken in the first x rounds, etc etc

Yup Gurley + Jordy at those prices seems like an easy decision

Say this most years but nothing usually comes of it, but post if you have an interest in piling into an FFC mock at some point. Will suggest Sundays at around lunchtime EST given that's when most of us would be doing fantasy stuff during the season as an opening suggestion? Maybe 4 EST as an alternative for the west coasters?

I'd be down. If it's on FFC, I'd prefer to do 12-team PPR mocks if I can reserve the 2-spot or 3-spot (to practice for my big $ league) and/or 10-team std scoring (to practice for YPLs - no preference for draft position)

Quote:
The Kansas City Star's Terez Paylor reports Spencer Ware "caught lots of passes in OTAs."

This is potentially bad news for Charcandrick West, who seemed more likely than Ware to handle passing-down work when Jamaal Charles needs a breather. ESPN's Adam Teicher already labeled Ware the No. 2 behind Charles, and it looks like that could be the case in the passing game as well. Ware is a much better late-round flier than West.

I never heard of Spencer Ware until he got his chance to start for KC last year when West got banged up. The tape was eye opening to say the least. 230+ pound freight train with excellent lateral agility breaking tackles all over the field and straight running defenders over.

He's time is coming. Is it this year? Not sure Charles is an all time great but he's getting up there in miles and coming off an injury. It wouldn't surprise me if Ware forced a time share with him at some point this year even if it was just to limit Charles's touches. West is no threat. He's just a guy. I'm not surprised they gave both basically similar contracts because of the volatility of the position but make no mistake KC knows what they have in Ware.

Got another draft pick offer. Really on the fence about whether it's worth it to move up. I draft 10th in a 10 team superflex dynasty. I was going to send my 2/3rd rounders for his 5th overall. He has since changed his mind, and wants to do his 1st (5th overall)/7th/16th for my 2nd/3rd/6th. I feel like im giving up alot, but would really like a pick in the top 5. Am I crazy for taking it?

I don't bother just because I don't see the separation.

Some mix of ODB/Antonio/Hopkins/Allen Robinson at the top?

So are you really sweating the gap between Julio, Evans, Le'Veon, Gronk, Gurley, Watkins, Zeke, Dez etc...?

Imho just draft well and enjoy getting 2 of those guys. I'm not moving up there unless I can get one of the top 3. I've plugged it in a calculator and it disagrees with me, but you missing on 2/3/6 is going to make a pretty weak team from where I'm standing.

i think you missed that its a superflex, which i think (ive never been in a superflex dynasty fwiw) makes it better to grab 2 1st rd picks.

Oh regardless of that I think I totally misread the trade. Lol you get to draft #5 AND #10? Yeah of course do that. Not particularly close. Not sure why I thought you didn't get to keep 1.10.

It is a superflex league. Y'all think this isnt close? I have done a couple of trade calculators that say the trade favors the other guy. They also don't take into mind the fact it's a superflex, so maybe that's the difference?
