Pass on Coleman if you want. Buy a bunch of shares of Freeman if you believe in his talent/situation. I don't and I believe Freeman's second half of the year proved I was on to something.

I am itching to jump into a few early low-stakes YPLs. The only thing stopping me is the long period of "fantasy free agency" immediately after the draft through the start of week 1. If it were somehow the case that rosters lock after the draft and there was only say a week of waivers before week 1, I'd be all over the early YPLs right now.

Not interested in playing "who can click faster" during free agency if significant news happens (ex: DaVante Adams last year was undrafted in most YPLs prior to Jordy's preseason injury).

Falcons want to reduce Devonta Freeman's workload

Atlanta would like to give Freeman a bigger breather in 2016 and get Tevin Coleman more involved in the offense.

not sure if serious, but i have a hard time seeing how the #1 ranked points wise RB makes it past the top 5 in most casual leagues

def on my do not draft list, and sure, coleman is a totally fine flier to take all things considered, but i wouldnt be surprised if i end up with 0 of either of them in any league

In a league that casual you probably get people going for godgers first overall and crap like that so you end up with freeman dropping anyway

His adp right now is late 2nd in ppr leagues and I think if anything he drops more in competitive leagues at least as we get closer to the season.

Non strat post - having seen a few best ball leagues pop up (and things like the FBG free contest as a corollary) which seem to have interest, I wonder if there'd be interest and/or a site that has the capacity to run a hybrid league between best ball and orthodox leagues - working on a typical 9 starter format, draft/auction deeper than usual so there's roster depth of around 20, but on any given week you only have ~75% of your roster as active and they score in best ball format

I'm in at least a few leagues every year with the same guys (then a couple online) and Rodgers is always drafted first. Never fails regardless of settings, rosters, etc. Still, no way devonta goes in the first round.

to those who have played MFL10s - how soft are they? I was thinking of degenning like $1000 into those and see what kind of ROI i can get. i know the rake is high so i'd guess i'd need to have quite an edge

The rake on MFL10s is better than YPLs (1/12 instead of 1/10). As with YPLs, wait until around late August to join as the player pool should be much softer at that time.

Arian Foster signs with Dolphins. Was only a matter of time, imo. Ajayi sucks ass.

While I wouldn't say Ajayi sucks, he definitely lacks a second gear. Sadly, Foster is even slower now.

This isn't a ringing endorsement for Ajayi, nor Drake. But depth at the position is a Gase staple.

Not sure if you saw Wes' thread. He's got 3 leagues open.
