that just means he'll come cheaper in FAAB tomorrow.
his velocity is meaningfully over 95 and his swstr is through the roof. 17.8% is not going to be sustainable obviously but there seems to be a coherent story being told
Ya duffy's swstr rate is obviously lol but > 12% ROS is very plausible if his velocity doesn't diminish. He has the added bonus of pretty strong control
I was actually going to post re: Duffy, his numbers feel a little deceiving because he hasn't been making more than one full trip through opposing orders. Didn't expect that though.
I'm trying to get Machado at $9 in a keeper league and the guy who has him is in first (needs steals badly). I offered him $11 Altuve and he thinks that's an overpay on his end. Is that as wtf as I think it is?
As far as machado goes I have no idea what to believe anymore. On top of everything else now he's hitting .320. I keep underestimating this guy and getting burned for it
He could very we'll be better than altuve in 4/5 categories playing a shallower position. I THINK Altuve is better ROS and a week ago this would have been an easier trade for him to make but today I don't see how he could
Correa was supposed to be a 30/30 player which Boegarts has no shot at pulling off
He's basically blackmon with better average and rbi and worse runs steals and homers
Plus there's that .400 babip. Granted he's demonstrated he could pop > .350 BABIP but I don't buy .400. And 4 categories are being directly inflated by that over performance

Thinking more and more about bogaerts and the people id trade him 1:1 for in a heartbeat and so far off the top of my head in no particular order I've got:
After that im kinda struggling. All things being equal stanton belongs here but his health scares me. Marte and Springer id take over him but they seem like pointless moves where you give up value by giving away the SS. Correa's counting stats are just way too good considering his average is so bad and while it certainly stands to reason he's going to struggle in his 2nd year with adjusting the upside is way too massive when his ceiling is top 3 or better while Boegarts' ceiling is basically what we're seeing now
I know how off this sounds but honestly, if im looking to trade for an ss lindor intregues me way more than Boegarts. Lindor will still be expensive especially now but its going to be less than the cost of Boegarts where im not entirely sure the production gap between the 2 going forward is all that great
In one of my leagues I was trying to trade Bogaerts as a 6th round keeper pre-season, and all the other owners were LOLing at me for asking for a 10th rd pick. I was like WTF? ( And this league count Hits and OBP as separate cats so he's even more valuable imo )
I ended up cutting him LOLme bc I had Seager last round. of course Bogaerts was drafted at the top of the 3rd rd, and is now basically untouchable according to his owner.
Have Kang at SS, now. Would you guys give Marte or Springer + a prospect like Snell for Bog?
Or stand pat and deal with all the Kang days off and hope Bregman gets called up soon and rakes immediately?
Currently in 2nd fwiw.
I have a bunch of outfielders that I don't know what I want to do with them. We start 4, and I have Starling Marte to anchor one spot. Beyond that, who we trying to hold, and who we trying to deal from this list?
