Eh rough night last night. Back at it again with the white Vans!

man, basketball has gotten really hard. cash last night in the big $3 was almost 280 and tonight i have a ton of mills/dellavedova/bradley all going more than 6x and i'm still getting crushed.

Tough sledding so far, that's for sure.

Yeah, I figured it was a late announcement. Oh, well. Playing for $1-$4 at a time makes failures much easier to swallow. I made pretty good picks last night, too - would've cashed were it not for Gasol.

This is the first time I've really tried NBA DFS and it's fun so far. The constant score changing during the night is exciting. It's crazy how little spread there is in scores up and down a GPP. One or two points can be the difference in moving up hundreds of spots.

Anybody else looking for Wall/Beal or Lillard/McCallum to go off tonight?

Trying to learn NBA (ive dabbled before but never super seriously). Was Drum a fish play tonight in DK gpps? He was my highest exposure guy (Melo was 2nd highest).

Cashed all 4 lineups despite crowder (in all 4) getting hurt. Feels like that ankle left a lot of money on the table

IMO I didn't see any value on him over say, gasol for 2k less especially when there were so many expensive must-plays

Had a post in the nfl dfs thread that spawned some nice helpful responses, so figured I'd try it here too. Im a pretty bad nba dfs player but I enjoy doing it/watching it. Used to be more along the lines of negative overall but with some good nights in tournaments that made the sweat fun, but over the past yearish I've been much worse and typically am just fighting for min cashes in them.

I'd love to hear any thoughts on blatantly obvious incorrect things I'm doing (either with lineup construction in general or specific spots that i'm throwing money away etc) in an effort to stop donating pennies each night and sometimes get some fun sweats.

My overall thinking was that Casspi filling in for Gay being out at $3k and Satoransky filling in for Wall at $3.5k were value plays that were going to get more minutes than normal and also opened up the ability to use more expensive players.

I thought Frye would get some run in a blowout (13.5 spread) at min price, while also being someone that's gotten 15.5-16.5 FPS (5x) in his other 3 games so it seemed like a reasonable floor from a pt/$ perspective too.

Miles had been doing well in Stuckey's absence and had between 7-9x in the two games since then without the price making any massive jumps.

Dwight looked to be in a good spot in an uptempo game projected to be close against Houston so I grabbed him for both.

I picked KCP because I thought SG was a good position to attack Denver on, but Drum ate them up and the game was a blowout.


Harden, Paul, Kawhi, and Bron are just superstars that I spent the money on where I had it with the value found from the casspi/satoransky/frye slots.

Ariza was another uptempo, close game situation where the DvP matchup looked good to me (19th vs SF)



Anyways, I'm 100% certain these lineups are bad. I just don't know exactly why, and I appreciate any responses I do end up getting from them. Just trying to not suck so bad

My worst fears about no late swap has happened.

Seth curry is 40% owned in the main slate and 60 in late slates that locked way before he was announced as a starter.

So these guys have their sources and have an unfair advantage

Huh? There are less games, thus less players to play at SG in late slate. Of course he is going to be higher owned in the late slate.
