For those who use DvP,what do you find more accurate, season DvP,or do you filter it down 4 weeks or less?

Here's a new fantasy game developed by the NBA, and it's for a 1 game slate - http://www.nba.com/inplay

I have just looked at season DvP in the past. However, after seeing your question here (because the thought hadn't occurred to me before) I am going to start filtering down to recent DvP's to discern any trends that I may not be seeing with defensive schemes.

How important is DvP in your overall plan.

I use it as the main driving force in my lineup construction. The only caveat to my using the DvP strategy driven approach, is if a defender from the team that I am looking at's DvP is missing the game. This is especially significant for me if the defender is an elite one. I think having a major rim protector out greatly impacts DvP across all defensive positions. I don't have statistically evidence for any of this, just speculation and my particular approach.

Hey guys, been putzing around with the $1 50/50s on FD.

Do they get significantly harder when you go up - and at what point does that happen - $10-25, or does it happen at $2-$5 already?

By how much harder points/% wise does it get?

I can't speak for cash, but pros bottom feed all the way down to $1 gpps, they'll ruin the game eventually.

Maybe try the draftkings freerolls or $.25 gpp's. The freerolls especially are good practice for single entries.

100% for me. I'd normally be furious, but on Saturday I shipped the Block, got 3rd in the Swat, and 10th in the Shot for a profit of $3233. That was my biggest DFS score to date and makes me feel better about the time I invest for only ~$15 a night in entries.

New to NBA DFS , i have a question- is it just part of the game that some guys get scratched last minute and theres nothing u can do about it? For example i had a lineup in last nights big $4 , 500k event on draftkings and lineups lock at 7pm. At 9:30 the news comes out that one of my players (deng) is out of the 10pm game. I freaking end up putting up 334 points with a guy getting zero in my lineup. So frustrating , is it just part of the game or like wtf how do u know if some guys are sitting last minute ?

That's how it is yes. I had a 343.5 with Deng that got ruined too. It's part of the game and unfortunately, there's nothing you can do about it. Last year, you could have subbed in a player at that position with leftover salary but that's not a thing anymore.

Yes it's part of it and there's no definitive way to tell if a guy is getting late scratched. You can hedge by playing the late games. Check twitter feeds of team reporters if you're not sure about a players status.

Also, if you're looking for a cheap forward, try beljinco. pretty much lock for 15-20 fpts and he's always 3k.
