You have Martin, Yeldon, Stewart, Coleman, and Foster? I think you'll be fine.

This is the first YPL where I haven't either got Gronk or had Cameron fall to me super late, so kept mistiming the TE runs and got stuck with nothing...not too worried about it though, since everyone in this league decided to roll with two TE's something should come onto the wire eventually or be pretty easy to trade for. Maybe should've picked Heath over Donnell though? Meh prob. Any thoughts/comments appreciated. Good luck this season fellas!

1.(1)Le'Veon Bell (Pit - RB) (everyone)
2.(20)Randall Cobb (GB - WR)
3.(21)Alshon Jeffery (Chi - WR) (TY, Evans, Mathews, Cooks)
4.(40)Mark Ingram (NO - RB)
5.(41)Arian Foster (Hou - RB) (Bmarsh, Maclin, Cooper, Jstew, Hyde, Ivory)

Imo TY > Jeffery and not grabbing a WR3 at the 4/5 turn seems bad.

How did I do?
I didn't hear anything on this, but it looks strong to me.

This is the league that I asked the other thread for keeper advice on. I followed the advice to keep lamar & hopkins, but I went ellington (15th) over what most in the other thread was the better keeper olsen at 10.

I ended up drafting Olsen 5th and getting ellington 15th. I think if I kept olsen at 10 I would have drafted ellington in the 5th so I ended up having a pick in the 10th & not the 15th as I otherwise would.... I think this sounds right to me.

Also, I went Rodgers in the 2nd while Cobb, gore, AJ Green & hilton where on the board. Was that a mistake w/ 6 pt pass TDs and 0 ppr?

17 Justin Forsett, Bal RB $28
26 Julio Jones, Atl WR $43
28 Calvin Johnson, Det WR $43
35 T.Y. Hilton, Ind WR $30
58 Latavius Murray, Oak RB $17

154 Markus Wheaton, Pit WR $1
163 Philip Rivers, SD QB $1

Went pretty well. Not a fan of Cameron at TE for 13, but TE's were going high and this was the last one left of anyone I wanted any part of.

Rivers, Stafford
Forsett, Murray, Coleman, Sims
Julio, Calvin, Hilton, Landry, Stevie, Parker, Wheaton
Cameron

I have an interesting draft question I ran into.

Playing in a casual league with old college friends. You can keep unlimited keepers for the pick 2 rounds higher than previous year as long as you drafted and held them all year (no UDFA keepers).

2/2/1, no PPR.

I pick from the 11 hole. My keepers are:

Rob Gronkowski (2.02)
Le'Veon Bell (5.11 -- it pays to load up on rookies in leagues like this)
Brandin Cooks (6.02)
DeAndre Hopkins (8.02)

When it gets to my first-round pick, the top 3 options (keeping in mind others have good keepers too) are

Calvin Johnson
DeMarco Murray
A.J. Green

Who do you take and why?

Without knowing what other WRs and RBs are being kept I go Demarco, because I think he is the best of those 3 in that format and you already have 2 solid WRs.

I'm a bit worried about Murray but I think I would take him here. In a standard league with 2/2/1 RB depth is more important than usual and you already have 2 WRs I'm comfortable as my 1/2 in almost any matchup. The keepers make it more complicated but in general I think I'll like the WRs available around your 3/4th round picks and securing murray is the play I think.

Mega could be such a huge upgrade over cooks/hopkins if he returns to form whatsoever, that I'd be tempted to take him and hope to bink on 1 of the many mid-tier RBs this year and/or trade 1 of cooks/hopkins + x later for an RB upgrade.

I go Demarco as I think those 3 guys you listed are all close and picking Demarco gives you more options later on in the draft and season. You can choose BPA for the flex instead of being locked into having to pick a RB later and possibly missing out on a great WR value. Plus going RB here and picking Demarco helps ease the blow of Leveon's suspension as you'll be in a better spot to replace him for the first couple weeks and still have a solid RB1 in your lineup.

Yeah TY and Jeffery are really close in my book, but Jeffery's size, lack of competition for targets, and better consistency tip the scales in his direction imo.

And I think not grabbing a WR3 at the 4/5 turn def could've turned out bad, but since I got Maclin at the 6/7 turn, ended up not really mattering (unless you have BMarsh or Cooper way ahead of Maclin, I think they are all in the same tier). If Adams was there, I prob would've taken him there, but I got sniped on him and I think it worked out for the better actually.

Appreciate the feedback!

This is intriguing, although if I trade Hopkins or Cooks I lose the chance to keep them at a discount. (The other guy can't keep them, either-- the rule only applies to draft-and-holds.)

Thanks for the answers, everyone. It was a tough call for me because I tend to believe that this is the tier where RBs tend to start becoming more inconsistent than WRs. But I also thought that WR was deeper and I'd be more likely to find a good flex play or two at my 3/4 turn since I'd be happy to play Hopkins/Cooks every week, presuming they perform as expected.

I ended up choosing DeMarco Murray.

Here were all the keepers, mine in bold:

2.02 - Rob Gronkowski
3.05 - T.Y. Hilton
3.09 - Andrew Luck
4.07 - Antonio Brown
5.03 - Carlos Hyde
5.08 - Jeremy Hill
5.11 - Le'Veon Bell
6.02 - Brandin Cooks
6.04 - Mike Evans
7.05 - Russell Wilson
7.07 - LeGarrette Blount
8.01 - Mark Ingram
8.02 - DeAndre Hopkins
8.10 - Alshon Jeffery
9.03 - Travis Kelce
10.01 - Julius Thomas
10.10 - Kenny Stills
11.09 - Chris Ivory
11.12 - Jordan Matthews
12.06 - Steve Smith
12.08 - John Brown
13.08 - Odell Beckham Jr.

My final team:

1.11 - DeMarco Murray
2.02 - Gronk
3.11 - Allen Robinson
4.02 - Todd Gurley
5.11 - Bell
6.02 - Cooks
7.11 - Ryan Tannehill
8.02 - Hopkins
9.11 - Tre Mason
10.02 - DeVante Parker
11.11 - David Johnson
12.02 - Jameis Winston
13.11 - Ronnie Hillman
14.02 - Breshad Perriman
15.11 - Leonard Hankerson
16.02 - Miami D/ST
17.11 - Cody Parkey
18.02 - Terrance West

QB - Tannehill, Winston
RB - LBell, Murray, Gurley, Mason, DaJohnson, Hillman, West
WR - Cooks, Hopkins, Robinson, Parker, Perriman, Hankerson
TE - Gronk

Pretty much as solid as possible, I probably take cooks but it's close. Kendall was a steal and ahead if all those other guys listed.
Interesting having only 2 bench spots. Does that mean that bye weeks play into your drafting strategy?

I didn't even consider bye weeks. I just wanted solid players. If I have to take a 0, so be it.
