Also, this won't be the strongest OWGR field of the year but for a large field, 125 player event, the bottom here is going to be stronger than the bottom of most other fields on the PGA Tour. In the US Open/British Open you have amateurs/qualifiers and past champions. The PGA has PGA Professional qualifiers. Masters has lifetime exemptions for older dudes, amateur qualifiers, etc.

The Barclays and the Players are events with 100+ fields where even the bottom of the field is pretty consistent cut makers on tour or guys who have won in the past 12 months like Herman, Taylor, and John Huh. Basically the scrubs aren't that scrubby based on recent form or whatever but you're getting them at scrub prices.

Agreed, as an analogy in soccer these event feels like the later stages of the champions league. The elite teams and those just a rank below but still capable of winning the whole thing. It is the business end and not many mugs left.

I am now getting to go over the 500 points marks with either 5/6 or 6/6 through. Getting the hang of the players profiles, playing styles and the differing course tracks. Golf DFS is fun and best to start small & also play few free leagues to study line-up construction while learning the game.

Should be an interesting weekend for me after a tough one with the Olympics (Rose, Stenson, Fraser, Cejka, Colsearts, Power).

On DK, I have Day, Reed, Glover, Grillo, Horschel, C. Hoffman in basically everything. A Grillo/Reed/Day top 3 would be nice but I have no faith in Glover and shouldn't have touched him.

He gave me a scare today after doubling 8 and flirting with the cut a bit. He needs to make some birdies for me to have a shot. I was in first this morning I think in the Birdie 300k.

The swings in DFS golf are tough. Yesterday I was 12th and had 2 teams top 300 and 1 top 1000. Now I have 1 in the top 7000 and a couple struggling to min cash.
