Perhaps Condia is using a different strategy this year. That double up is multi-entry though, which might be why he swung a different LU.

On FD you are limited to 1000 TOTAL entries per day. This means 1000 total H2H/GPP/other entries on Thursday and another 1000 on Sunday. Both Condia and csuram88 have 7 figure bankrolls, I don't think they really care who sees their LUs.

I saw Condia throw up 250 $10 H2H games for Thursday. I know that's only $2500, but he's throwing away potentially 25% of his total entries on beginner level stakes. They feed on the bottom of the pond IMO.

Different strategy this year? Looks like a safer team in the 50/50.
And LOL at BrettFavre444 with 4/5 identical LUs, all with Ellington at RB. Easy way to burn $1k.

I'm pretty new to daily leagues for football. Can anyone share what the typical philosophy for defense is? And whether its to go as cheap as possible, or are you putting yourself in a big hole with a bottom dweller defense?

For example if your option is Jax and AJ Green or Jets and Eric Decker (random examples but I think fairly accurate options), what is the prefered path? Is starting Jax or Dal this week to get an upgrade or two elsewhere just a bad overall strat?

pretty strange. last yr the lions gave up the 6th fewest points against rbs. 6th fewest rushing yards against at 4.2 ypc and tied for 8th best rushing tds against with 10.

giants were bad at running the ball last yr gaining the 4th fewest yards at 3.5 ypc.

jennings is obv an upgrade but hes no adrian peterson. i guess there were some other changes to both teams?

So what's the basic strategy for DFF? Enter a **** load of HU matches to balance out the variance while entering a few large guarantee ones? And do you guys generally just use the same lineup for each HU match?

Yeah, basically. I use one lineup on each site for cash games but try to differ the players.

Although, after checking out my HU matches that started Thursday, almost all of the lineups were decent and I didn't see any clear cut mistakes.

I'm convinced all the fish join these big GPP tournies. Who wants to join a HU match? That **** is boring. Combine that with overlay in some of these tournies; and I think the way to get all the money is to embrace the variance and go hard at GPPs.

So took a break from MLB and just constructed my first ever few NFL lineups.
Do any of these look even remotely playable?
Which is strongest/weakest?

Stephen Hill was cut by the Jets, probably not an optimal play...

I'm a rookie, but I think the only choices for TE are either balls deep with basketball or pick a min wage guy you think will over perform. If you think GRONK's gonna be healthy then I could see that too.

I'm speaking from the FD side of things - You cannot let your DEF give you negative points if you want to win. Expensive D is only 6000 as opposed to 4500 for the cheapest. Just look for the match-up you like best.

There is definitely variance but to win a GPP you'll need a great scoring D, couple of return TDs, lots of sacks, etc.

You can always find a good defense thats cheap because of a good matchup.
