Cooks is really interesting to me. On the one hand, Tavon Austin and C-Pat were both impact players when their teams decided to feed them "Sproles-y" type targets as far as screens, runs, and short YAC centric routes, their teams just weren't consistent in giving them those opportunities. The Saints have had that role in their offense going back to Reggie Bush and that player has always been fantasy relevant, so that's something.
On the other hand, Cooks is really a receiver where the other two guys are more hybrid players. Like, Tavon Austin had 600+ rushing yards his senior season and Cooks had about 200. They also just look different on film, Cooks is a more complete receiver in the sense you can see him display ball skills and attack all areas of the field, but he also looks more fast than insanely shifty or whatever, so that may be better news for his long term prospects as a legit wideout than a testament to his ability to step in and be Darren Sproles.
Idk, he's probably a guy where we'll learn a lot in the preseason, not so much from if he's with the first team all the time but more from what type of plays he's involved in.
