When I make a trade with another team it's not to specifically hurt 1 other team

He prob dropped his kicker for Fleener.

I'd drop Reed. He hurt his hamstring again last week fwiw. I wouldn't ever feel comfortable starting him for the rest of the year.

What's the likelihood the buffalo game doesn't happen? They expect 7 feet of snow

Having grown up 5 minutes from The Ralph I say 0%. The Sabres played last night.

When does the Ben Tate waiver process resolve?

In season waivers are 24 hours so I'd imagine very soon.

Looks like the Vikings claimed Tate. WTF?

Asiata/Mckinnon both missed practice today, ADP ruled out for them, they need RB help, makes sense

I've been looking for another league to get into. I bet you would have enough people here in 2+2 for a 12 team league. Maybe start a thread and see what happens. The slow draft we did here in 2+2 was the most fun I have had drafting a team ever.
ya i dont have any experience with dynasty leagues so im not sure the optimal way to run them

have no idea what to make of tate to the vikings. mckinnon was very legit by some metrics on pff. his yards after contact were off the charts.

as much as asiata sucked, he was def converting short yardage at a high rate.

really hope this doesnt become another dumb 3headed monster.

Well, if Asiata is out, then that's a pretty good reason for the claim. Unfortunately, it'd take a combination of brass balls and desperation to start him this week, and Asiata could easily be back next week.

Did Blount clear? When's the limit on that?

and then have like 30 roster spots.

do any of these leagues exist?
I probably shouldn't join considering the guy putting it together is putting it together because everyone in his last keeper league quit because he dominated it, but f-it I am interested.

30 roster spots seems a bit heavy, IMO. What kinda buy-in are we talking?

well, if ppl are interested, we can do a cheaper buyin, and for the ppl that want moar gambool, they can do side bets or whatever.

so i dunno, say 250 buyin?

im kinda worried about a dynasty breaking up, so id like to keep it cheap so that ppl stay in.

A couple things that were done in Toerazor's Dynasty league I'm in that worked well. It's only our second year to so we could still fall apart but it looks like we are all active and even losing teams are doing everything they can to set themselves up for the future.

The first year you pay for the 1st and 2nd year. Then after that you are always paying for the next year in advance.

Short benches have helped. The WW is pretty active and it makes it harder for the better owners to stock pile assets.

Give the option to pay as many years in advance as a team wants. THen make a rule where you can only trade draft picks from the years you have already paid for. If we do lose an owner it's hard to get another team to take over a team with no draft picks.

Make sure you have "all" the rules laid out before people pay/join. It's difficult to change rules after the league is started because teams have tried to manage their team a certain way because of roster sizes and starting line-ups.

Get SirRaws to be commish if he joins. He would make a good commish because he's done it before and he seems pretty straight forward/won't run off with the money.

Also if you do it. I would advise having a draft before the actual draft that doesn't include rookies. Then after the actual NFL draft have a rookie draft. The more drafts the better dude. It's a good time mang!

yeah asiata's concussion and mckinnon's back are both issues that could linger, so it makes sense for the vikings imo, especially since they dont have to pay him much.

am i correct that he'd be a FA in the offseason too? if thats the case then hes just a mediocre stop gap for them while the AP nonsense figures itself out, potentially even resting mckinnon if his issue is serious.

fantasy wise his situation is about the same as it was in cleveland if either mckinnon or asiata are in. if they're both out and he's a lead back, he's a flex at best anyway
