It's not really about ADP when you're trading multiple positions. And if this is standard I don't really see there being a big gap between Gio and Foster. With how many people are spazzing on Peyton I just feel like a better deal could have been made.

in this case, i just dont see how adp doesnt apply.

i do agree on gio and foster. i actually have foster higher.

This probably belongs in here.

In a 2 QB league where the entire league is QB crazy (Virtually the entire first round every year is QBs) where do you not select a QB and take high value RB/WRs?

In most leagues I never like to participate in runs, but in this league virtually all starting QBs are gone by round 4, so you have to participate.

So if you have a mid pick in the first do you go with a Stafford or Luck once Manning, Brees and Rodgers are gone? Or do you go for a McCoy knowing a Romo is your best case option for QB1 in round 2, probably more like RGIII or someone else.

RMT 12man Snake 0.5 ppr QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WRT/T/K/D/6xB

1.9 - Demaryius Thomas
2.16 - Gio Bernard
3.33 - Roddy White
4.40 - Vincent Jackson
5.57 - Ben Tate
6.64 - Dennis Pitta
7.81 - Jay Cutler
8.88 - Trent Richardson
9.105 - Danny Woodhead
10.112 - DeAndre Hopkins
11.129 - Charles Clay
12.136 - Andy Dalton
13.153 - Denver D/ST
14.160 - Steve Smith Sr
15.177 - Nick Novak

Pretty happy with my depth, I think Gio is the only reach there, in hindsight I should have taken Montee Ball with that pick (other options were Ellington, Marshall). Thoughts otherwise?

Started out great, but I'm bolding the picks I really don't like. If you're going to draft a guy like Pitta in the 6th (which imho is a reach), don't bother backing him up at all. Or if you do, back him up in the 15th with a Heath Miller. I like Woodhead more than Trich, and you got Woodhead a round later.

Best value imho was Smith in the 14th, that will be a great pick for you.

This seems pretty average. Patterson CJ2K and Welker (flex) are unimpressive starters. In a 16 team league you'll have a few unimpressive starters but having 3 is not good.

Your WR core is ugly after DT but the rest of your team should be able to make up for it.

You have to take a QB or else you'll be at a huge disadvantage. I think get away with QB, RB/WR/Jimmy, QB tho.

Looks ok for a 16t league. WR core is pretty nice.

Yeah I'm snapping Ball > Gio. Gio is probably the better back but Ball is in a better spot.

The bold picks I do not like value wise. Especially Pitta/Cutler/Clay

Interesting about the early TE/no backup idea, thanks for the feedback

Not sure when/how to roll out Smitty but hopefully he has something left to give. The Richardson pick is intended almost as a sleeper if he can figure things out, I like Woodhead a lot also, I was going to draft Steven Jackson in that spot but he got sniped the pick before, the more I think about it Woodhead could be just as good if not better with the 0.5 ppr

I'm worried about RB depth yeah but my WRs are just in there b/c that's the order I picked them. I think I have a good core overall as Evans and Hawkins should at the very least get volume with Evans having big upside. Welker I think is good as a flex in a 16t unless he's braindead.

Yeah I don't like the Stafford pick at all but this looks good for PPR I think. I think Graham was good value at 13. Vereen could catch 90 balls this yr easy. He was getting like 9 targets a game when healthy in 2013. Bench might be a little thin.

First YPL (2rb/3wr standard scoring) of the year for me, out of the 7 spot, top two picks were Brees and Lacy lol, and Jimmy got taken 5th ahead of AP/Forte/Mega. Still felt like I got sniped a bunch and picked some guys too early prob so while I'm ok with it, I don't think it is very good. Any comments/critiques are welcome as I am planning on doing a bunch more of these over the holiday weekend. All snipes are the pick/s immediately before mine

1. (7) Matt Forte (Chi - RB) (Sniped on AP, but not complaining much)
2. (14) Dez Bryant (Dal - WR) (Not sniped boom)
3. (27) Randall Cobb (GB - WR)(Sniped on Alshon...maybe should've went Martin here?)
4. (34) Vincent Jackson (TB - WR) (Sniped on Foster and Allen)
5. (47) Jordan Cameron (Cle - TE) (Ugh, not happy with this pick, but he was my highest rated non-WR left (T. Smith, Floyd, and Crabtree all still there), RB's here were Vereen/Gore/Joique, sniped on Spiller (by dude who already had 4rbs) and R. Bush)
6. (54) Frank Gore (SF - RB) (Joique was only other real option here)
7. (67) Ben Tate (Cle - RB) (Time to start piling up some possible RB2's...TRich/Sankey/CJ?K also available)
8. (74) Steven Jackson (Atl - RB) (MJD, Ray Rice still there, sniped on Colston and was flipping coins between SJax and MJD, but already have MJD in another league so diversified)
9. (87) Carlos Hyde (SF - RB) (Gore insurance, might've jumped the gun here but wanted to secure him...only spot I strayed from my rankings all draft, Sniped on Prater lol)
10. (94) Tony Romo (Dal - QB) (Romo and Brady were both there in 9 so just decided to take whoever came back)
11. (107) Justin Hunter (Ten - WR) (Maybe too high, but it'll be a while before I need a WR hopefully, Benjamin/Shorts/Hopkins still there)
12. (114) Russell Wilson (Sea - QB) (No snipe boom, got a scare when Peyton owner unexpectedly took a backup, but he went with Big Ben)
13. (127) Kenny Britt (StL - WR) (Blah...prob shoulda went with Gordon here, Boykin/Hartline/Stills also still available here, might drop him for Dobson or Amendola, who you got?)
14. (134) New England (NE - DEF)
15. (147) Dan Bailey (Dal - K) (No more preseason games, so went with a D and K, so sue me)

Lineup:

Romo/Russell
Forte/Gore/Tate/SJax/Hyde
Dez/Cobb/VJax/Hunter/Britt
Cameron
Bailey

I would have definitely taken a WR somewhere in 6-9 just for bye week purposes. Don't like Cameron there in non-PPR. Sick that you got Wilson in 12 and Dez at 14. Martin/Cobb at 3 is a wash, I haven't done a Yahoo Pro this year, but can you get Fitz/Crab/Floyd in round 5? Even so there is sick late round value on Yahoo as far as RBs go. Without seeing the other teams I assume you are like 3/4th best team?

Decided to kind of fish this draft up. It's 12 team 0.5 PPR with 5 point passing TDs, -2 ints, and -1 per sack. I felt with the draft being on Yahoo I could get some sick RB value in the late rounds. Totally blanked on McCluster, would have taken him much earlier. Since benches are so deep I ran out of WR/RB to take so took 2 defenses (lol) and Tennehill. Got sniped on Pitta in round 10 which was sick and then Delanie Walker in 15.

1. (8) Jimmy Graham (NO - TE)
2. (17) Peyton Manning (Den - QB)
3. (32) Keenan Allen (SD - WR)
4. (41) Andre Johnson (Hou - WR)
5. (56) Torrey Smith (Bal - WR)
6. (65) Ben Tate (Cle - RB)
7. (80) Pierre Thomas (NO - RB)
8. (89) Steven Jackson (Atl - RB)
9. (104) Cecil Shorts III (Jax - WR)
10. (113) Mark Ingram (NO - RB)
11. (128) Jordan Matthews (Phi - WR)
12. (137) Carolina (Car - DEF)
13. (152) Khiry Robinson (NO - RB)
14. (161) Ryan Tannehill (Mia - QB)
15. (176) New England (NE - DEF)
16. (185) Dexter McCluster (Ten - RB)

18. (209) Nick Folk (NYJ - K)

Totally **** the bed tonight. After 2 drafts I was thrilled with, I was in one tonight with a guy who was in my first draft of the year. He took every pick of mine from that draft 2 picks before me tonight (Sanders, Cooks, Benjamin). I was so tilted and I ended up just totally flubbing the later rounds.

QB - Brady (8)
RB - Charles (1)
RB - Forte (2 keeper)
WR - K. Allen (3)
WR - TY Hilton (5)
TE - Cameron (6)
Flex - R. Matthews (4)
D - Chiefs (16)
K - Bailey (15)
----

Mike Wallace (7)
Kenny Stills (9 awful that early)
Justin Hunter (10)
Jonathan Stewart (11)
Andy Dalton (12)
Josh Gordon (13 keeper league)
Benny Cunningham (14)

12 team ppr, reverse snake after 2nd round. Had 3rd pick overall. I'm a running back injury away from being completely dead

Yeah, I don't worry much about bye weeks during the draft...maybe a leak, was hoping to grab Colston in 8 for that purpose, but never really liked the value of the WR's left for the other picks.

I'm actually really high on Cameron this year, but I also think I most likely could've waited at least one more round, but all the value plays there were at WR unfortunately.

No Fitz, but Crab and Floyd were both there in 5. I would've taken Torrey ahead of them anyway. I think the late round value on RB's kinda got domino effected by the guy who started RB/RB/RB/RB/RB, because it wasn't there as much as I've seen in other YPL's posted here.

Thanks for the feeback!

Absolutely...when Brees went first I was super happy because I feel there is a large drop after the top 6, but then dude picked Jimmy 5th and I had visions of AP in my head for a second...tough to start much better from 7 than Forte/Dez though imo, so can't complain at all about that.
