God last night was the lowest score ever for me in hockey. I had Stamkos and Quick, other than that no one on my team scored a point. Ick.

Worth playing the three game schedule tonight? Thinking stack some Winnipeg top 6 guys against Calgary and play whichever Boston goalie starts. Need to see what Vegas thinks about Pittsburgh vs Anaheim but I could see Winnipeg forwards producing for much less than Crosby, Kunitz, Malkin, Getzlaf, Perry, etc.

Without looking, you can probably fit in Crosby/Kunitz plus 2 WPG guys plus two of the Krejci line without much of a problem.

Although I've had success on short slate nights this season, prob not playing today either. Really hate being pigeon holed on goalie and feel like it greatly increases variance. Rask costs a ton, but it's a tough sell to use any of the other goalies. If you do go Rask, he's probably ~50% owned which blows, and if he loses you are just ****ed. Fleury is a risky pick any day, and definitely against a healthier Ducks. Taking any goalie in WPG/CGY is just suicidal. I'd be considering Fasth if I wasn't playing Rask. Too wimpy to play Ward.

Yeah, I'm sure Rask will be really highly owned, as will Lucic and Krejci. Not sure about the Winniepeg players though. I imagine more casual fans would gravitate towards the Pittsburgh/Anaheim game.

Ended up cashing in all 3 of my games, cheeseburger stakes though.

Playing with a lineup for tomorrow, currently sitting on:

Oshie/Backes
Sedin/Sedin/Kesler
+ others

Seems like VAN vs FLA and STL vs BUF are the obvious games to target.

Any opinions on line-stacking in 50/50s? I've been stacking top lines against bad teams and entering my lineups in both 50/50s and GPPs and it's been working well but I also think I'm running hot. Still don't have a great handle on DFS NHL and I'm wondering if it's better to diversify in 50/50s.

Think I had a pretty important realization the other night regarding daily fantasy hockey. Line stacking was working but my sample size was small and I think I was getting lucky. Will definitely continue to do it in GPPs but in 50/50s and HU games I'm making a more conscious effort to get exposure to more top lines and PP units across the night's schedule, instead of stacking 1 or 2.

Yeah, last night I put some more thought into getting good exposure and ended up with:

Kunitz/Jokinen/Martin/Niskanen
Koivu/Pominville
Cammalleri/Monohan
Perry
Hiller

I had multi line + PP exposure for the Penguins, Wild and Flames, and 1st line + PP exposure for the Ducks. Even with the duds from the Flames, Hiller, and Jokinen I cashed all my 50/50s. Another thing I hadn't thought much of is using defensemen to get better PP exposure. I typically just looked for cheaper guys playing bad teams, 2nd PP unit if possible.

Tonight is gonna be tougher with the larger schedule but with defenders I've got exposure to a lot of PP units.

Well, last night didn't go great but still cashed in a few games. I had:

Simmons/Voracek
Wingels/Thornton
Kopitar
JvR
Eberle
Duncan Keith
Alex Goligoski
Niemi

I think my lineup was pretty good. Watching the Flyers highlights it looked like the Flyers PP peppered Miller but just couldn't get one by him until the 3rd. Meanwhile the 3rd line got two past him. I don't think I was "wrong" to pick Voracek/Simmons, just didn't work out for me.
