This but for Jordan Crawford. It hurt. All because I didn't want three players on my team from BKN.

Looks like either the Big Wed $50k tournament on DK has either filled already (7 hours before the start of the tournament when I tried to register) or it was cancelled for tonight in favor of Fantasy Millionaire tournament qualifiers. Is anyone in the Big Wed $50k for tonight? I find it hard to believe a $109 tournament filled 7 hours before tipoffs started. I have two tickets that I won for it, but I see Draft Kings allowing me to use those tickets for Fantasy Millionaire qualifiers tonight (they do not allow me to use the same tickets for other $109 contests).

They are running a 15k showtime this week and there are still spots open.

Yeah I saw that one too. The weird thing is my $109 Big Wed $50k ticket won't allow me to register for that tournament. I have to use the funds from my account to enter, and I'd prefer not to do that.

Ok, just got an email back from support. They are not running the $50k Big Wed this week in favor of the $109 mega satellite to this Sunday's Fantasy Millionaire football tournament. I did enter that qualifier because I like the payout structure so much more. 300 players and the top 20 receive a ticket worth $1500. I wish the $50k Big Wed tournament had a similar structure. I feel pretty confident that I could finish top 20 in that tournament at some point, but I don't know if I'll ever ship it, Lol.

12 game slate with no LAL or PHI, actually have to think tonight when constructing roster.

With recent performances from Meeks, Kobe, Jordan Hill, Spencer Hawes, Evan Turner, and Tony Wroten that might not be such a bad thing lol

High scoring night in the association, but I still think this is fairly impressive (certainly not confident that I'll be able to do it again any time soon). I put together 2 lineups that both scored over 300 points (312 & 304.75), and I only shared one player in common with both lineups, which was Beno Udrih.

I may have to hang it up. Last season I had a net profit of $5500. This year I am down $1400. Why the **** would I start Joseph? Beno ****ed me the 3 times I did use him, so now I'm supposed to predict he is going to blow up? That's why I say NBA is inconsistent. Martell Webster goes for 30 and gets rewarded with being benched. Have to take a few weeks off I guess.

ed, beno was a super easy start last night. i doubt he was the only active knicks PG the last 3 times you used him

Yeah the times I used him I watched him play and he looked awful on the floor. It was when Felton missed a few games, but yeah seeing as the minutes he got I guess I should have used him.

Eddy,

I think you have some legitimate complaints/concerns. nutshot is correct to point out that Beno Udrih was a solid play last night, simply from the standpoint that had Woodson wanted to take him out, he couldn't very well do it without Felton or Prigioni to substitute in.

The Webster point is very valid. There's no reason that upon the return of Bradley Beal to a lineup featuring a fully healthy Trevor Ariza and Otto Porter Jr. that anyone would expect Webster to get the amount of shots that he received. I don't see a way to know that Webster's opportunities would go away last night, either.

The biggest thing that makes NBA a crapshoot, in my opinion, is the tendency for coaches to rest players in games that are already decided. You don't see Joe Maddon hit for Evan Longoria in the 7th inning because the Rays are up by 5 runs and they have a game the next day. Lol, that's baseball there's a game every day. It's annoying when a star player is pulled at random, but you know about it 3-4 hours in advance, everyone isn't a perpetual "game-time decision".

And some would say well you can know by the opponent. Anyone have Minnesota being up by 30+ on the Blazers in the 2nd qtr last night? That aspect of it is a total crapshoot, and in my opinion, severely cuts into the profit any casual player could hope to have.

I was kind of sour on Beno too, just because he's fat and out of shape. I wasn't keeping track but if that game doesn't go into OT does he reach value on DK or FD? Anybody remembe what his FPs were in the 4th quarter?

I didn't fade him totally I used him in 20% of lineups, and those are the lineups that won for me. I profited like $60 on the night, could have been more if I plugged in Beno instead of Bayless but hell it's on to the next night.

I don't know where this "Beno is fat and out of shape" thing started but lol rotogrinders forum.

Beno was in the low 20s at the end of the 4th iirc. He was a super easy play.

And Martell wasn't "benched." He played 7 less minutes than he did against the Knicks the game prior...the only reason he got those extra 7 were because he was unconscious from the field and they're working other people back in slowly (Beal/Porter to a smaller extent).

Frank Isola tweeted it before his first start, and Beno chit the bed that night. Everyone has just run with it since.

lol Isola then. His jumper's been more consistent the past week or so and again there was really no other option...he wasn't gonna play Toure more than 15 mins and Chris Smith was never seeing the light of day. Funny thing is the games he started last time when Pablo was still around his rebound/assist numbers were there he just wasn't hitting jumpers which is why his minutes suffered.
