had good night last night. being NYK fan i knew to fade Udrih when he was like 20% owned in some GPP's. Also DWade was as high as 7% owned in some GPPs lol

Agree that it seems unsustainable...for instance the DK 50/50 GPPs have 80%+ multi players that were in the next double up i checked (60+ entrants in both), rake is too high too sustain that sort of ratio.

GPPs is a new one for me fellas. What does that stand for? I, obviously, know the context. I'm just curious where this came from.

I think I'm missing something here. If I'm understanding you correctly, you're implying that a manager who plays in multiple contests is most likely or is a good/winning player. And to follow that thought further you're saying that if 80% or more of the field is comprised of these players in a 50/50 contest, then it will become too difficult to beat long term.

If that is what you are saying, then I disagree. Well, I should say I agree with it as potentially being a bad sign but not necessarily. Just because someone plays in multiple contests doesn't make them a good manager, and even if they are, a hierarchy will be established between the best managers, and the ones that don't make that list will adapt or lose money and leave the site eventually. All of the DFS sites are advertising and the phenomenon is spreading. It's plausible to think those relinquished spots will be absorbed by new players to the sites.

Is anybody else having trouble with editing players on Draft Kings? It happened to me twice tonight and has happened a half dozen or so times this season. You go to make a substitution and after you hit submit and assign lineup it goes to this "processing, please wait" screen, and it says do not close this tab or something to that effect, but it just keeps saying processing please wait. I've waited as long as 5 minutes when I wasn't up against a tip off. Tonight, I tried to sub Marvin Williams in at my SF slot the minute that I heard Kanter was out, but my screen did that same thing and then when it said ok successfully changed, I went back to the My Lineups tab and Beasley was locked in at my SF slot and not Marvin Williams. The same thing happened when I tried to switch out Batum and Noah for Dirk and Wesley Matthews.

Is this happening to anyone else? That Marvin Williams switch attempt was brutal tonight. I bubbled so many 50/50s on account of that.

It could be my Ipad, but it's only a month old, and it also happened on my desktop at home once too. I think it could be at high volume traffic times for the site like right before registration periods close edits can time out or delayed in que past the deadline time.

philly, are you making edits inside of 2 min til the registration deadline?

I dont know about specifically 2, but i'm always entering with less than 10 to go, and quite often entering with 5 to go.

Maybe 5% of the time DraftKings won't load for me in Firefox so I have to open it in Internet Explorer and it works there

Yeah it's an issue that if I try again it works the second time. The problem is that the lineup is lost, so I have to remember who I had and in what position. Also, if it's up against a deadline, I miss the opportunity to edit. But, I would agree doesn't happen often, but then again one time that costs me money is one time too many, Lol.

I have also noticed that the guaranteed tournaments with multiple entries missing fill fast. I thought about getting in a $27 gtd contest today with 20/30 registered. In the last 47 seconds 8 more ppl signed up for it (not including myself). My thought is that maybe this kind of last second multi-registering/editing/importing is stressing the system.

God I hate mtts/gpps (whatever you want to call them). Finish 23/2611 and you get a measly $12 and a thanks for playing. Finish 1st and you get $500 or another 4167% more.

Does anyone have an idea of how the good regs set their teams?

For example, has anyone studied Condia's line-ups?

I was looking at his line-up today and he took 4 Grizzlies. I assume, because BK has one of the worst defenses and is on a back to back on the road.

Then he took Hinrich, and Irving.

The Irving pick was the only head scratcher since Chicago has such a good defense and he's been playing pretty badly.

Here's the other question: Does he go with the same line-up across the board?

He plays 1 lineup per site. also his lineups are built for H2H and 50/50s. He takes a lot of high floor guys who have limited ceilings.

Do you think thats the best overall strategy, or is he the leatherass of DF?

I think one lineup per site is optimal. I play DD, DK and FD on any given night. my lineups on each site will be different, and I won't have same player in all 3 lineups to so an injury does not destroy me. Like last night had ZBO on all my DD lineups and i lost every game there. but he was not in my DK or FD lineups.

Not on Draft Kings... That said I've been experiencing trouble editing on DK.

Really weird today. I was registered in the full slate contests on DK to take advantage of the Redick injury. So, I'm waiting to hear on Faried & Hansbrough. I had Hickson in my original lineup. So, I finally hear that Faried is playing 6 min to tip & Hansbrough is starting for Amir Johnson. I pull up DK on my Ipad, and once I login, I have like 4 min to switch out Hansbrough for Hickson. Oh & I also decided to swap Derozan out. I make the changes & then hit assign lineup. It says it's processing & keeps doing that for a full min... obviously, I can't wait past tipoff, so I go to my lineups page and no changes have been made. I go back to hurry & try to do it again, but it tells me "no contests found for this lineup"...

So, I'm looking at a lineup with Hickson & Derozan in it. Just now I go to switch out Beasley for Hollis Thompson & when I hit assign lineup it keeps processing with no "successfully completed" message. So I go to My Lineups tab and there is the Hansbrough edited lineup, which is good & bad. Good that Hansbrough 5.75 more pts is in my lineup over Hickson, but sucks for me that I didn't know I had the extra $1400 to spend. I could of gotten Stuckey in my lineup.

Long story short, not a fan of DK's software when it comes to editing lineups. Also, the menu for full slate contests on DK today was uber light. While the menu for late night games is expansive. Should be the exact opposite if anything. Especially for a site that has up-to-tipoff substitutions. How was the full slate menu on the other sites today?

Mondays and Tuesdays are my favorite days to play NBA. Most of the NFL guys are chasing their losses.
