Ahh gotcha. Well my vote would be:

QB,2RB,2WR,TE,Flex,K,DEF

No ppr, 4pt pass td, 6pts rush/rec

Also I think FA keepers should be a mid round pick, 7th/8th rounder

By flex we mean rb/wr right? Espn has rb/wr/te as default flex.
Would like to do 6 point passing td too

I agree w/ springs starting lineup and the FA keeper being mid round. Kinda indifferent about passing TDs being 4 or 6. I wouldn't mind seeing flex include TE as well as RB & WR.

I'm not opposed at stopping the league at 10 teams either.

Not a big deal if it's RB/WR or RB/WR/TE; if you wanna use a TE there, feel free....

why dont we throw out a few options for scoring...

1. .5 ppr, 6passing tds, -2ints 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1te, 1wr/rb/te, k, d

2. 1ppr, 6passing tds, -2ints 1qb 2rb, 3wr, 1te, 1wr/rb/te, k, d

3. .5ppr, 4 passing tds, -1int 1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1te, 1wr/rb/te, k, d

4. standard scoring (no ppr) 4pt passing tds, -1ints, 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1te, 1wr/rb/te, k, d

im personally fine with 1 or 2, or 4 would really like 3wr slots...

I am interested, but I believe there need to be definitions for a few more things such as waivers/faab, fa pickups as keepers, trade vetoing, and how we will deal with punting dead years/collusion

we are still deciding about FA pickups for keepers, right now it looks like FA=8th round is most preferred...

waivers havent been discussed yet...

trade vetoing/collusion... trades should be set to league votes, as the commish im obviously going to bring up any possibly suspect trades for review on my own as well...

as far as outright collusion, i wouldnt worry too much about, most people here have played in more then one league before, and many have been part of several leagues on here in the past. We would likely also be able to spot any two people working together, not setting teams against certain opp etc...

that being said we'll add a clause now...

Teams that start players during BYE weeks are subject to punishment and possible team removal. Because every game is crucial to the overall success of the league, and the rosters are deep enough. There is no reason to have players being used on BYE weeks. There will be no exceptions.

Teams should also be expected to start their strongest lineup each and every week, tanking, or setting a weak lineup to aid another team is strictly prohibited and will result in league removal and forfiet of buyin

This is an extremely serious consideration, one which the league will seek to avoid at all costs. If it arises, this path will be followed:
1. The commissioner will decide if team removal is required.
2. If this is determined to be needed a notification will be posted on the message board and via email.

also adding a small prize for highest points during reg season might be good since it will give the teams who secure early playoff berths motivation to keep playing hard all year...

I dont like the no exception rule. What if someone drafts a team like is like all bye week 7 and would have to drop someone to run a full team. Think that should be an exception

Thanks for posting that. I'd prefer a FA auction budget >>>>>> any waiver order. I think that you wrote a good clause to prevent guys bombing to last place for first pick next year, but I think reverse order standings to decide future picks will still lead to a lot of arguments... Is there an alternative?

Also, are we allowing draft pick trades?

Might be earsier to vote on each individual topic (as suggested by OP) once we get our desired # of members.

My Picks:
5. no PPR, 6 pass TD, -2 INTs, 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1Flex (RR,WR,TE), 1TE,k&D

With 6 or 7 bench spots, I don't think this should be a problem. If it so happens that it is, then I think we are an intelligent enough group of guys to realize that it isn't intentional.

I don't mind any of the roster set-ups proposed. My only preference is if we go with 6point Passing TD's that we have at least .5PPR to keep things balanced.

Thoughts on next years draft order: Bubble boy gets first pick and so down the line until we come to the team that came in last and after that it is reverse order of standings for teams in the playoffs..

EX: 12 team league w/ 8 teams making the playoff

Next years draft order would be the teams that finished the regular season in these positions: 9,10,11,12,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1

As for scoring I like 3 WR + 1 Flex as well. I think it should only be .5/1 PPR if its 6 point pass TDs, but I don't really mind anything.

Speaking of playoffs. top 6 make it not top 8 right? top 8 is way too easy

For playoffs I proposed top 6 if 12 team league and top 4 if 10 team league.

7th or 5th place would get first pick depending on number of teams we go with.

Maybe instead of bubble auto getting first pick we could give the winner of the consolation bracket the pick

kay that would be the excepetion, and as DDIP said we are all smart enough to see/understand if that situation occured... although it is unlikely

top 6 yes...

Right now i think the things we are settled on:

100 buyin
12 teams (should eaily get 3 more, likely this week)
6 playoffs teams

Im proposing a slight change to payouts...

Payouts: 50, 30, 20%, with 5% to top point getter of reg season

I think we should just adopt DDIP initial roster/scoring as its pretty much in the middle of what everyone has proposed as possible settings:

PPR (.5) and 6pts/td (pass&rush), -2pts int
1QB
2RB
3WR
1TE
1FLEX (te/wr/rb)
1K
1DEF
7 Bench

Waivers:

bidding or by standings we need to discuss this

Keepers:

3 keepers-3 year max (almost everyone put 3 who voted)
Lose Draft pick of round selected previous season
FA Keepers=8th round draft pick (again most who voted chose this)

Site:

simple vote should suffice once filled, espn or yahoo...

Draft order:

being discussed...

idea for draft order:

winner of consolation bracket gets awarded first pick, runner up gets second, then it goes by reg season standings, super bowl winner gets last pick, runner up gets second last pick this gives everyone something to play for:

1. conso bracket winner
2. conso runner up
3. worst reg record of those left
4.
5
6
7
8
9
10. best reg season record of those left
11. sb runnerup
12. super bowl winner

If we do 6pt for passTD we need .5ppr I think, or just no ppr and 4pt

Waivers; I like rotating, makes it the most fair. Last one to do a waiver gets bumped to the bottom.

Top point getter getting something makes sense, 5% would work.

Conso winner getting #1 is interesting, makes that bracket worth something.

yes, only thing to decide would be divisions or no divisions?

if divisions then what seed do division winners get (auto first or just ranked with everyone else on points)

id be fine with either, this can be dedcided after we fill too
