Nobody else bid and now I have to use my FAAB dollars on both. They should create some sort of system where if you get your first choice, you have the option to cancel your 2nd bid at the position automatically.

"they" have this at CBS, and I would imagine MFL as well.

Not that sick, Play Foster and Fjax and MJD in the flex every week. Dwill sucks, Addai sucks, Helu has had one big game and hes in Shanahan's system and could get 5 touches the rest of the year and Starks splits time with Grant. I wouldnt trade for any of those guys.

you should be able to do this yourself by dropping the same player for both bids, so that if the first goes through the 2nd is automatically cancelled

Yeah that would work. I had 3 empty roster spots, so I really had nobody to drop but that's def a good solution going forward. I still think Yahoo and ESPN should create some sort of easier way for morons like myself to do this.

Re: 2011 Fantasy Football general discussion thread
i dont think there should be contingency plans in waiver auctions...choosing who to bid on and spending your $ wisely is part of the strategy imo

Re: 2011 Fantasy Football general discussion thread
I just offered ben tate for jordy nelson, as I am hurting at wr and am ok at RB. Thoughts?
RB: AP, Murray, Tolbert, Tate, Kendall Hunter
WR: Wayne, Sidney Rice, Crabtree, James Jones, Earl Bennett
I need a WR I can be happy starting every week. I could make use of Jordy immediately.

put me in the 'thats not that sick rb depth for an 8-teamer' category.
i have a 12 teamer that starts a flex position with:
foster/tate
mcfadden/bush
forte
jacobs
ringer
pierre
6 rbs that put up double digit fantasy points ftw

heres the cribbs report
Quote:
|
"I can't give nothing away, but they put something in that's special to me and that's all I can say about that,'' said Cribbs today. "Coach is really trying to target me and the coaches are really making an opportunity for me to get the football more.''
|
Quote:
|
Asked again later about possibly lining up in the backfield, he said, "We've got eight games left. There will be some surprises this week.''
|
Asked if coach Pat Shurmur might run some Wildcat, Cribbs said "he's warming up to it.''

Re: 2011 Fantasy Football general discussion thread
Oakland WRs going to be interesting to watch tomorrow night - Ford got the numbers last week, but Moore had 12(!) targets and it's anyone's guess what the hell is going on with DHB. Palmer seems very close to making this receiving corps fantasy relevant for the rest of the year. If any of these guys are available on waivers, all are worth a flyer.

Re: 2011 Fantasy Football general discussion thread
McFadden is officially out for tomorrow night right?
I own McFadden and am ok with him being out for tomorrow but can't decide if I want to play Bush against the Chargers or C Johnson vs the Panthers. Any insight?

If only there was a start/sit thread for these types of questions. Not answering it out of principle.
