This dude owns Sproles, Run DMC and MJD, so I'm just hoping somewhere in there there's a person to snag.

Darren McFadden is still unable to run on his sprained right foot, and his status for Thursday night's game against San Diego is uncertain.

Vittorio Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle is skeptical that McFadden will be able to play against the Chargers, and it sounds justified. Fantasy owners should keep a close eye on McFadden's progress through Wednesday, because he'll likely need to get in at least some practice time in order to be cleared to play. McFadden suffered the injury on October 23. The original timetable for return was believed to be 2-4 weeks, but McFadden has never been a fast healer. By Thursday, he'll be 18 days removed from the injury.

Re: 2011 Fantasy Football general discussion thread

what is joe 6pack's view of Matt Stafford these days? Still mediocre injury prone?

I'm holding Vick, Stafford, and Tebow.

Can't trade Vick- he's just too valuable. Can't trade Tebow becasue of his cancerous week 8 performance. and nobody will give me anything for stafford

I hav Stafford as qb3 in my league, it may be worth seeing what Vick can get you in return. McCoy seems to be getting the GL touches this year.

unless you are rolling thru the weeks and need depth to be safe, keeping 3 top ten QBs on your roster seems like an ineffective use of resources

its difficult to trade qbs tho since there are so many who can put up a lot of points, the marginal value isnt there

Re: 2011 Fantasy Football general discussion thread

Agreed. I have had Stafford and Tebow on the block for weeks and no takers. Tebow will only be tradable if he puts up 2-3 more top 5 weeks in a row, at which time it would be nuts to trade him because his schedule weeks 14-16 is awesome (def ranks - i'm not sure of the source or exact ranking methodology as I got this on fbg, but still):

14 Chi (25)
15 NE (32)
16 Buff (26)

Re: 2011 Fantasy Football general discussion thread

well, i logged into my "work league" and i see the trade [(7-1) team trades malcolm floyd to (1-7) team for Greg Jennings], so after a call to another league owner who told me the 1-7 to be 1-8 tomorrow owner said he was having a "fire sale" on his players.. welcome to lockedville..

im actually surprised that my work league that was a 10 dollar entry put together the day before the 1st nfl game of the season took so long to start and fall apart..

Re: 2011 Fantasy Football general discussion thread

Two offers for Andre:

Daniel Thomas
Mike Thomas

Pretty sure that one is lol but this is worth consideration:

Percy Harvin
DeMarco Murray

Andre has had like zero value thus far so eager to dump. Share your insight please.

Why are you dumping him now? If you wanted to dump him, shoulda been 3 weeks ago.

I didn't even have a full lineup last week. I don't care that much. Either way, I have him now, do you think the price is right?

The first offer is awful, second one is okay I guess. Murray won't get all the carries when Felix comes back and I pretty much hate Percy because he's never on the field.

Meh in that case I'll probably ride out Andre for the rest of this sad season. Thanks.

Re: 2011 Fantasy Football general discussion thread

Im trying to set my self up for the Playoffs since Im in first place with a good schedule. Im set at RB with Forte and ADP with B Tate, Hillis and D Thomas once those guys get healthy for flex.

I would like to upgrade my WR2 behind Jennings. I have Maclin, B Marshall and Antonio Brown. I was thinking about shipping off Maclin and B Marshall for a more elite receiver to someone that has a really good receiver and no one else. This is going to hurt my depth/flex options but should help me in the playoffs with starters. Thoughts?
