I give up Luis Scola for Andre Miller to a guy really low in rebounds.

Anyone buying what Darko is selling? If he plays well tonight I think I'll pick him up and drop Kris Humphries (who I'm perfectly happy with, but no sense holding on to him if Darko's playing better).

He's been huge on blocks all season, the rest has only been there twice though.

Re: '10-'11 Fantasy Basketball Season Thread

True. In his last 4 now:

17.0 pts
8.8 reb
3.5 ast
4.0 blk
0.8 stl
2.0 TO

Not too shabby. And perhaps the most encouraging stat of all:

36:30 mpg!

I think I gotta do it. I have too much of a need for blocks atm (close to losing some points in the category) to pass on someone like him. Kris Humphries...farewell, and please don't let anyone else in the league notice that you're available now.

Re: '10-'11 Fantasy Basketball Season Thread

So, here's my team atm:

Rotisserie with the categories displayed (well, FG%, FT%, then everything else displayed, ignore GP and FTM/FTA/FGM/FTA), max games limit.

If I can trade Brand + Conley for Josh Smith, I do that, right?

I have a situation right now where my bench players are good enough to be solid contributors on other teams. For example, the guy who has Josh Smith has Beno Udrih (yuck) starting in a utility slot, and if you replace J.Smoove with Brand and Udrih with Conley on his team, they actually combine to do better than Smith+Udrih in every category except blocks. I'm idly looking for any spots like that where I can make 2 for 1s to other teams that have ****ty players starting, in exchange for one of their better players that I can start.

tbh I should probably be starting Brand instead of Frye (I just put Darko in for tomorrow before taking that screenshot though), but I'm trying to improve in threes...it's hard watching really good performances go to waste on your bench. As I'm typing this Brand has 19/7/2/2 through 3 quarters right now, all 7 boards are offensive (which counts huge in this league).

Re: '10-'11 Fantasy Basketball Season Thread

As a local mcgee fan, I've been talking him up since the summer when he tried out for the wc team, didn't make it, but stayed to play on the practice squad, I'm pumped that work is paying off for him, hopefully he keeps it up

In other news who has the better side of this trade

Hibbert , westbrook
4
Lawson , al Jefferson
