I appear to have spoken prematurely; Frye is still in the starting lineup, bumping Turkoglu/Warrick out. His minutes prob still go down a little, but his production may stay good.

Re: '10-'11 Fantasy Basketball Season Thread
I'm in a 12 team 9 cat H2H. I'm dominating AST and STL by like 30% more than the second place guy on the season. So I'm looking to trade a PG for a Forward with good boards, solid FT%, and contributions in either 3s or BLK.
I'm talking with the owner of Elton Brand and he wants Kidd. I'd rather give him Andre Miller, or get his Kevin Garnett back for Kidd. I feel like even though Kidd has been a bit of a turd, he probably has more value to me than anybody else because I'm punting points. What do you guys think is a good trade here?
PG - CP3
SG - Raymond Felton
G - Jason Kidd
SF - Rashard Lewis
PF - Marcus Camby
F - Dorell Wright
C - Marc Gasol
Util - Andris Biedrins
BN - Andre Miller
BN - Rodney Stuckey
BN - Hedo Turkoglu
BN - Ron Artest

Re: '10-'11 Fantasy Basketball Season Thread
LOL at me for having Frye on my bench. Missed out on Darko's 7 blocks last week, miss out on Frye's 7 threes tonight (plus 9 boards, 1 stl, 2 blk). FML

Brand has been killing it this year, so you'd have to buy high on him most likely. tbh his stats are pretty close with KG's and he blocks more shots; the only downside in taking him is if you think he's likely to fall off a cliff stats-wise. If you really don't care much about assists, Kidd isn't doing much else for you.

Off the top of my head, SFs who can board, FT>70% and 3s/BLK (to varying degrees that aren't 1st/2nd round picks) are Jeff Green, Brand, Landry Fields, Troy Murphy (wouldn't want murphy personally), Noah(just got hurt I think), Duncan (wouldn't want duncan).

Click on "Full Standings" and scroll down, it shows the games played for each team.

Im a big time newb, just glancing at my roster are there any moves you think worth making? I was looking at Amir Johnson. H2H 8 team, cats in bold in the image, pretty standard.

Brad, thanks. very helpful.
so my thing right now is I am really looking for a guard with high shooting % and assists.
I just offered:
Kobe Bryant
Darren Collison
Trevor Ariza
for
Steve Nash
Serge Ibaka
We'll see what happens.
my current roster:
Jason Terry
Kobe Bryant
Grant Hill
Landry Fields
LaMarcus Aldridge
Richard Jefferson
Blake Griffin
Andrew Bogut
Glen Davis
Wilson Chandler
Trevor Ariza
Darren Collison
Andrew Bynum
Tayshaun Prince
Yao Ming
current standings:
it's clear i'm pretty far back of the top 3. but i do think i came out of a TERRIBLE draft and have fixed up my team okay. i do think there's a shot i make a strong run up if i manage my max games carefully. I think I have a good core of Wilson Chandler, Andrew Bogut, Blake Griffin, LaMarcus Aldridge, and a soon-to-be-healthy Andrew Bynum. If Yao gets magically healthy (i just picked him up) i get really excited.
Kobe has been LIGHTS out recently. However I really do need help in assists, and badly, so i'm trying to ship him fora Steve Nash, Raymond Felton, Chris Paul type. if anyone here is in my league feel free to hit me up to negotiate.
also, yeah, my draft was frickin terrible. worst pick? Darren Collison. I thought him, Ray Felton, and Russell Westbrook were all primed for breakout years. Well, 2/3 of them certainly were. F me for equating them. Mike Miller, Hedo Turkoglu, Brandon Roy, and Ron Artest have also been underperforming wonderfully.

Re: '10-'11 Fantasy Basketball Season Thread
Yao's season (and possibly career) is over. He has another stress fracture in his ankle.
Taj Gibson moving back into the starting lineup with Noah's injury (out approx 2 months). Gibson was dropped in my league when Boozer came back, so hopefully I can claim him off waivers.

Christ. Poor Yao.
Also, even with Noah out i still don't see that much upside for Taj. whats he good for, 10 and 7?

He's in the top 20 in the league in blocks which can be hard to come by.

I have only played H2H so I am not totally familiar with roto, but if you are in the top 3 in 8 of 9 cats, aren't you winning?
