Im not sure flexing a top 5 TE every week isnt better than WR50

you can get kelce and trade gronk, since he has more value and i think kelce has a same or even better year

and if you flex a te you will be losing tons of value, id rather trade them both tbh

Again, please show your work.

My flex would be my WR4, which in the best case scenario would be drafted in the 7th round, and that's assuming I don't take an RB2 until round 8.

I'm losing value in this format by having TE2 in the flex vs WR50 ?

Surprised at the Hill hate. He is one of the top playmakers in the game. Reid might make conservative in-game decisions but his offense is always creative. I only took issue with Hill as #1.

Brown, Julio, ODB, Evan, Green, Jordy, Hopkins, Hilton, Cooper I think we can reasonably put ahead of Hill

So you're gonna say Hill is gonna out perform Cooks, D Thomas, Baldwin, Pryor, Dez, Landry...?

edit: I'm honestly asking, not just being sarcastic and instigating. I get it's hard to tell with me sometimes

I've been taking Hill only before Pryor and Landry of those listed above

Im in a league thats been going for several years and this year we decided to make it a 3 player keeper where we keep them for 2 yrs after this season. I was lucky enough to draw the #2 overall pick. The #6 pick offered my is 2nd and 3rd round pick for my first round pick... i keep flipping on what if i shoukd accept the deal of not. Any thoughts anyone?

Thanks for this. I still take Fournette in Tier 2 before Miller/Gurley though.

So you wouldn't have a pick until the mid second round? Seems like a terrible deal for you, even worse in a keeper league.

im not going to go deep on stats but you have to conisder that you wont be using a wr50 but a player with same value as gronk/kelce so maybe watkins/Demaryus or some along the line, plus you have the option to upgrade your team if you have a weak spot through the trade.

I have zero WR. DT is the best WR available.

For those in FAAB leagues, do you pay for losses?

Perhaps I'm simply being ignorant and this is actually a great rule that I've never considered - how exactly does it work? Fixed $FAAB amount per loss? Percentage of $FAAB based on points margin of the loss? What if you've already spent all your $FAAB and then you lose? Do you receive more $FAAB for winning?

ive heard of leagues where you put actual cash into a pot for losses and split it up amongst the overall prize pool to avoid tanking. never heard of FAAB though.

Oh yea to be fair there definitely exist some fun variations on FAAB. One of the most interesting settings I've previously done is that everyone uses real $$ to bid on players (so, essentially unlimited FAAB) and that extra $$ simply gets added to the prizepool.

on my 12 man league we introduced a new rule to somehow avoid tanking.
semifinals are week 15 and championship week 16
so everyone plays each team once and from week 12 to 14 the top half scoring teams get a W, and the lower a L
I guess teams can always choose to start a weak lineup but at least it doesnt benefit directly another team, and we can at least shut down collusion and suspicious arrangments, but it definitely helps tanking.
