Is it a rule of thumb that the more coordinated the board the less likely you should be to fire a second barrel on the turn.

say you have a medium strength hand and are pf raiser with one caller

eg

I have: 99

Flop: Q77

CB Is fine

Turn:
Q77J no bet
Q77J no bet
Q774 no bet
Q774 bet

i think its all player dependent, but i play live mostly and get a a lot of calling stations. but on that board depending on my image, id bet any 2-9 Non club and probly any ace non club. but i guess sometimes i may also continue on a club because i bet a lot of my draws if i open. So i guess there I'm betting pretty much any card lol if he calls or raises I'm obv check/folding

with 99 though i think theres a lot of merit to checking turn calling any river a lot of the time.

What do you intend with your bet?

On a cc flop, and opponent's turn check is good bet in case:
Q774

Well, it slightly depends on who called you. Are you IP or OOP? What player type called you?

Board texture isn't the only thing you should take into account when cbetting.

Regardless though, medium strength hands aren't ones I'd be choosing to cbet with. I'd rather c/c. Having the 9c does make me slightly more inclined to cbet, but only slightly.

(I'm referencing the flop. I'd never double barrel pocket 9's on this board unless I bink a 9.)
