Generally speaking, if I'm 100BB deep how should I play suited connectors from all positions?

In addition to that, what kind of price do I need to call with with suited connectors from all positions?

I know that generally for set mining I should be getting 10:1 on my stack if I believe villain is willing to stack off, but I really am unsure of how to profitably play suited connectors.

I mostly play live 200NL

Also to be sure I knowwwww that there are multiple variables I need to consider such as position and tendencies of villains, but I'm talking from a really general standpoint if I sit down at a regular table and know nobody.

25:1 sounds good for suited connectors.

I think the amount should be more dependent on the effective stack size of the hand and the number of players seeing the flop and position. Suited connectors go way up in value the more deepstacked you are. There's a lot more factors to consider than compared to set mining.

Can you elaborate? I mean those are good points but those all seem pretty obvious.

Odd I never thought of suited connctions in that terms before. I mean ya can't call with them with small stacks or vs small stacks but not having a range like for set mining.

Could you put up the math on 1:25 pls?

in general i will open and over limp these hands from very late position some of the time. i will seldom, if ever, call a raise with them.

I usually treat PP's set mining at 15:1 and suited connectors at 20:1, there are some variables that can change these numbers. Position, Implied odds which can be based on how loose or tight someone is, obv the tighter the original raiser the bigger implied odds you might have etc. But because you did mention in youre original post that you dont have history at this point you couldn't go wrong with playing it straightforward until you get better reads.

Most of the time suited connectors are a losing call to try and hit a big hand. They just don't hit often enough. Bluffing at 1/2 live is also lol so that won't work. The required amount you need to get implied odds is eventually going to be so big that you are actually getting reversed implied odds because of higher straights and flushes.

They are just bad equity hands, why would you find reasons to play them.
