You guys all agree that if someone want to be a professional poker he really has to work hard on study, strategy etc...

So there is some favorite ratio between studying poker and playing session

Here is problem

I figured out I'm obtaining not much of learning from playing sessions

Please correct me if I am wrong

Yea of course we win some money and find our leaks to develop away from table

But I feel like I'm not learning knowledge when I'm grinding

By the way I love to study something that I don't know yet

We named it intellectual curiosity

For instance I am able to study poker 24/7 and I love it

What do you feel when you are playing session?

Good question this and I also spend lots of time studying and thinking about poker when away from the tables. I play both online and live.

When playing I try to incorporate the concepts I study ( range vs range thinking, balance, a bit of GTO) but after a while I find myself falling into some of my old habits (thinking about my hand instead of my range, folding too much, not bluffing enough...) and at this point I know I'm not learning anything.

So I actually spend more time studying than playing in the hope that my time spent playing is better quality. The good news is I also love studying it.

The book learning with playing takes about one year, after it takes years of playing to get experience.

What i Learn by playing? I suppose there is an article that says in what ways poker is good for us.
