I think of flop texture like this:
a) flops that give a ton of equity to the preflop raiser. 60%+ range vs range equity is a huge advantage. Bet a lot with both value hands and bluffs. Check bluffcatchers, some weak draws, and just a few check raise value hands with monsters, and then make a decision based on betsize.
b) flops that give a slight advantage to the preflop raiser. 55%-60% range vs range equity is a slight advantage. Bet somewhat less often than above with value hands and bluffs. Check more often with bluffcatchers, weak draws, and more check raise value hands than above. Fold more often than above depending on betsize.
c) flops that benefit the preflop caller to the point that low equity bluffs will not be profitable for the preflop raiser due to the high continuing frequency of the preflop caller. I donk a decent amount of hands here as the preflop caller. I check a lot of hands here as the preflop raiser.

When out of position:
a) I bet relatively big, with 2/3 to 3/4 pot betsizes.
b) I bet somewhere in the middle with 1/2 to 2/3 pot betsizes.
c) I bet relatively small with 1/3 to 1/2 pot betsizes.
When in position:
a) I bet relatively big, with 3/4 to 1 pot sized bets.
b) I bet somewhere in the middle with 2/3 to 3/4 pot betsizes.
c) I bet relatively small with 1/2 to 2/3 pot betsizes.

Now I suggest you explore the range vs range equities on some different flop textures. Here's one situation that I went really deep into with this exercise. It's a limit holdem situation but I think the patterns that emerge in the range vs range equities will be existent in no limit holdem as well; though the preflop positions and exact ranges will affect the equities.
